Thanks for the tip Thomas, anyone want to go in on 3,000?!? http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/fasteners/Machine1-Screws/Pan3-Head/m3-5-0-6x10-metric-pan-head-machine-screws-M3-510D7985A?infoParam.campaignId=T9F&gclid=CjwKEAjw-JqgBRCAyqjoic27nlQSJABBTpFEJmL5TFqQ37V0H-GyURqdqdwasKQqg_mqnPUD7pT7VBoChQrw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
With the 5.4" bull barrel it's going to be pretty long and heavy, so I would go for a shorter comp (the new Akai fish gill comp) and with all those holes I would think the slap in the palm would be more of a concern than the muzzle rise. Depending on the size/position of the holes you may be limited in the powders which will make major for you, but I think something like Autocomp would work well.
The Torx is a big pain, the flat head less than optimal because you can get off center and scratch your grips, so I actually prefer the Philips head screws from CZ: http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/309247003508_Grip-Screw-75859783
What was your load Calvin? There's a whole world out there so many Open shooters never experience above 170pf, they just work up to major and stop.
PS: if you've never tried 115s you're really missing out.
You don't have to worry about your wife finding out about things if you just tell her, and continue doing whatever you think is best.
I pay the mortgage and buy most of the food and finance the vacations and fund the retirement accounts, so my wife doesn't really care what else I spend my money on.
Honesty is a virtue. I enjoy coming home and telling my wife about the great deal I just got today! She certainly isn't a fraction of the gun nut I am, but she enjoys my passion and take a genuine interest in the things I love. The important part is to reciprocate.
Damn!
Glad you're alright, I found my first reload with a primer jammed in sideways and imagined what it would be like if it lit off...
I still tried to shoot it, but it wouldn't go off
