  1. It only helps if you're B class or better, you'll see Man! Christmas must be here early this year! Two threads in two minutes
  2. I can see I got in your head Gump! That's how I beat you to B class: psychological warfare UCO, can you now see how much fun this is ?!?
  3. I usually shoot a 52oz Open gun, so when I switch to an SP01 it feels like a paperweight! ETA: Plus going from 175pf 115s to 130pf 147s is a huge
  4. You've arguably got the best Production platform in the most popular Production caliber, what sparks the interest in a 40 Stock II? Just wanting to try a Stock II and the 40s are easier to get? An SP01 vs Stock II debate can go on all day (I know, I have both and can't decide which I like better ), but it might be worth noting that a friend of mine who owns safe full of Stock IIs is now shooting a Shadow
  5. That's a great idea! My buddies won't tease me nearly as much with a fish tank pump taped to my powder thrower as they do now with that pink sparkly dildo!
  6. I don't know about any of you, but I compete in competitive pistol shooting because I like competition so I enjoy the opportunity to compete against not only the guys at my local club, but also with my forum buddies who live all over the nation.
  7. Thank you William, I was hoping there was someone who would get it.
  8. From what I hear JHPs are more accurate than FMJs and CMJs, but does a plated HP offer anything over a plated RN (besides an OAL challenged ogive)?
  9. ouch! How much fun is it to be an A class shooter getting your ass handed to you every week by Bs and Cs? What's respectable about having an overinflated classification? I take pride in being able to shoot my classification on command, I call that consistency. When I have a good match, I outperform my classification and it feels good.
  10. Tell me about this roller I've never heard of such a thing?!?
  11. Here's my tuning thread with lots of pictures: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=191773&page=1 If you want the extended safeties and mag release of the Shadow post a WTT ad here, there are some guys who prefer the slim controls.
  12. CZforum.com or czfirearms.net? I'm on both as kneelingatlas so you can have him PM me, I can help with what he wants to do.
  13. This is why reloading is so frustrating/fun/rewarding, there are enough variables to make your head spin!
  14. To change from 10mm to 40 only requires a new barrel and new mags (unless you want to load to 1.2"+ and use the 10mm mags); if you want to switch to 9mm you probably want a caliber conversion (whole new top end and mags), but you can shoot a 9mm barrel and a 10mm slide (I've done it, just not thousands of rounds). If you want to go the 9mm conversion route send me a PM, I'm sure I have one between my couch cushions
  15. Yes it is that's the whole point, when you have a problem of trust at the head of an organization conventional wisdom says to simply replace the head and hope it changes; what I'm asking is if there's another way to accomplish what we want?
  16. You think your wife was pissed about the Open gun?!? Wait 'til she sees this bad boy in the garage!

  18. There have been a few threads on this forum surrounding allegations of financial impropriety and lack of transparency in USPSA; while I have no interest in debating the legitimacy of these claims, I wonder how many of my fellow shooters are familiar with decentralized autonomous corporations? and if the governing body of a sport such as ours might be a good application? I am far from an expert in the subject, but it certainly interests me and from my elementary understanding of the mechanics, it seems like a protocol could easily be written on a platform like Etherium. Any thoughts?
  19. Where did you get the brass? Range pickup?
  20. USPSA is a prime opportunity for the deployment of a decentralized autonomous organization (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralized_Autonomous_Organization)
  21. Here in the US all Tanfoglio products have to come through the importer, EAA, and they operate on a "you'll take what we give you" basis and competition does not seem to be a priory for them.
  22. "Better" is to simple a concept. More case volume means less pressure in a given load, that's the main reason to load long when using heavy bullets and fast powders as so many of us like to although if overpressure is not a concern with your particular combination of powder and bullet, I don't see any problem with loading shorter than SAAMI specs. As for accuracy: I don't know... I'm not yet to the stage of my load development where I'm tuning OAL for accuracy, but I have heard some people swear by the accuracy of shorter loads. I started reloading primarily to shoot 9 major, so my first priority has always been to make major and not blow up the gun, then to cycle reliability, then to produce as much gas as possible to work the comp, then accuracy. I haven't made it that far yet
  23. Trigger bar doesn't touch the hammer, I guess I'm confused?
