  1. We have started using the somewhat new Wilson Wide Amby. I use Swensons myself, I know , they a pain to fit.
  2. Chuck, What feeder are you talking about? Chuck I was laughing at another post in another thread thinking how funny. It was one where the writer couldn't remember who said a quote he repeated. He then realized it was in his signature. Now here I am seeing a post I made with no reference to which product I was talking about. Thats what i get for laughing at somebody else. I was referring to the KISS.
  3. I got one in last Friday. Set it up Monday Night. I was a little frustrated as i had trouble with the instructions or lack of in some areas. Of course I am the type that tries to do it on my own and then goes to the directions only as a last resort. Once I learned the system and how it worked I saw the genius in the design. I thought WOW to do this with mostly stuff you can buy at a hardware and electronics store. It has run perfect. I cant believe Dillon hasn't bought the design or come up with their own that is a little more packaged and refined. Something that takes deep pockets to produce. Until then these things work. I am amazed at how easy and fast loading is. Next step is the Dillon primer tube filler.
  4. My brothers have stores that sell gas and diesel. They have been making much larger than normal profits on the way down. They arent so fast to lower prices as they are to raise them. Cant say I would do any different. They did tell me that diesel is the worst. They are paying 2.60 for diesel and selling it for 3.29. I paid 3.25 this morning. Makes me mad knowing what they paid when I know the normal profit margin for fuel is .04-.08 per gallon. as long as we pay it it will be slow to come down, at least until competition kicks in and drives the price to normal margins.
  5. Thanks for the reminder. Web page updated.
  6. We just sent in a number for a customer with 13 spaces and were told its 12 spaces max.
  7. I will give you the rules. 13 spaces, letters, numbers and blanks only . no symbols like #, $ etc. Must be at least one number.
  8. Yes we have some that were not already spoken for. As for the holster. We have already placed an order for Blade tech holsters. Not sure when they will be made. It is in the beginning stages. The safariland 567 should work also. If you are interested we can try a GP6 in one tomorrow to see which fits best. These are adjustable so I am sure they will work.
  9. Chuck, I totally agree which is why I ordered them from you. I waited many months the last place I ordered from (and the price was the same). I was implying there may be cheaper choices (ie lead, moly coated etc). I haven't seen anything cheaper for zero JHP. Those you got I had waited 4 months to get. Dont have that many left although we do have more on order. Not sure when they will come.
  10. STI now has the mag with the groove in the front. The groove keeps the 9mm round to the back and then it has a ramp on the front of the mag so to keep a round from nosediving. This is really the most helpful when using JHP ammo. These mags are not cheap though. But for a carry application, JHP AMMO, complete reliability is worth it.
  11. I have to ad that this was a great match. The RO's were friendly and the stages were challenging and well thought out. The range itself was in a beautiful area and is a very nice facility. We are looking forward to next year. I prefer October for the cooler weather. Boris told me its usually dry that time of year. If you do it in June it will be hot and if you dont get wet from rain you will be wet from sweat so October is the best time in my opinion. We haven't gone to any Fall matches over the past several years because of the boys football schedule. Now thats over we plan to do more. This one will surely be on the list for next year. I think one thing that really helped contribute to the stage quality was, talking to Boris, they wanted a shooting match not a track meet. Just all in all it was a shooters match, designed by shooters for shooters. Great job!
  12. Sorry Bill, we just got a little anxious. Ryan has been checking for scores on his phone since we left.
  13. Cant help but wonder if there is a problem getting scores uploaded tonight. Server problems a possibility? Are the scores posted anywhere other than USPSA?
  14. I have not been very interested in going to any of the places hosting the last several World shoots. Greece , although a little disappointed it wasnt here, sounds good to me. If I can get a slot and conditions allow this is one i will try to make. How is Greece with guns? Might want to see more than just greece on the trip and wondering what to do with the gun while traveling.
  15. Any word on results? What about Jesse Abbate? Shooting limited she apparently has won a stage and a stage with strong hand / weak hand at that. I am impressed.
  16. Bob, a price doesnt count unless they have it in stock. I do want to keep up with competition so please let me know if anybody is lower priced than me that has them in stock. Brand for brand that is. I only sell Zero. Cant guarantee I will change my price for a dollar or two but the margins are so tight and competitive on these the major players will all be real close to each other.
  17. There was a good answer in this thread. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...hl=south+africa
  18. Except they are anodizing them black. I posted the anodozed pic in my dealer forum.
  19. Isnt that an STI front sight cut which is .300" X .060" X 60 degrees. If it is then there are sights being made for it.
  20. I added a pic in my dealer section.
  21. Bob, good to shoot with you and cool to put real people behind the screen name.
  22. Or with the world shoot coming somebody may need the 126's for IPSC standard. I would try and get 140's instead of putting an extended base pad on them.
  23. Not all pasters are created Equal. There were some out there last year that had a terrible problem of not sticking. Those were not mine. I just dont like getting a bad rep from a competitors poor product.
  24. Some of these posts can be pretty funny if somebody read them not knowing what you guys were talking about. I believe searching and handling a RANGE bag without permission or even under duress is an invasion of privacy. If an RO suspects a cheater they are more than welcome to collect rounds from every mag used on every stage. That should be deterrence enough. And it should be implemented more than it is now. Collection times should not be announced and they should be collected from a magazine that was used on a stage. We have become complacent in the enforcement of the chrono in that the cheaters know how to beat the system since most matches just ask for 8 rounds at the start of the match. Then they are free to use what they want. Its not advantageous to use minor ammo mixed with major ammo. Timing, function and point of impact changes enough they wouldn't want to mix the ammo. So we need to bring randomness back to the function of chrono which will turn a cheaters advantage into a disadvantage. One thing I always hated was when i was asked to give ammo out of a magazine just before I was up to shoot. I had just got done making sure my magazines were loaded and placed where I needed them to execute my plan. The proper time to collect is right after the shooter completes the stage. Then each squad should be made aware that ammo will be collected from at least one member later on and they will need to chrono again or with that ammo if they hadn't chronoed yet. So instead of taking the easy way out and threatening to search a shooters belongings, follow the random plan even though it may ad a little extra work on the match staff. This preserves the integrity of the sport and the shooters right to privacy.
