  1. One of our long time Employees is retiring the end of this year and we are looking for another team member. Pleasant personality, detail oriented, focus oriented. Knowledge of the Shooting Sports and the equipment is a HUGE plus. Work in the industry you love with Bankers hours. 8-430 Monday - Friday. No nights or weekends. If interested please send me an email , chuckb@shootersconnection.com
  2. LOL, you would be wrong. Possible Uline is buying from same people we are as they are similar. I think when buying in bulk the pricing is similar. Cant buy just 1 or 10 at uline but you can from us.
  3. This is the response from the manufacturer when I asked them about the possibility of adhesive being light. and th second question if he has ever seen stock come in with light adhesive. " We have not changed anything about the paster labels; we are still using the same material and adhesive we always have used in the past. The adhesive is actually applied by the paper mill, not something that we apply in house, so there should not be any chance of the adhesive running out during production. If I may ask, are the trouble pasters being applied to recycled cardboard? We had some issues in the past with some recycled boxes we'd purchased - we couldn't even get carton tape to stick to them, let alone labels. Could this be a possibility? Please let us know your thoughts. We take any issues you may have very seriously and want to help all we can to solve them." "Almost never. The paper companies do have a range of tolerance in their spec, but it's generally pretty tight. If there are specific orders these happened on we could try to get the company to analyze them, but I've almost never seen any material that was far out of spec without it being noticed in the production process."

  5. Had a call today referencing this thread and one other here. So i wanted to address it. If these were new pasters I wish you would have called us to get it resolved. This has never been an issue with new pasters. Yes they do get old and dried out with the time frame depending on storage conditions. We do use the most aggressive adhesive available for this application. It just hasn't been an issue which is why I am replying to this 16 months later.
  6. It wasn't clear if the pasters were ours or not. I did look up your account and didn't see any pasters ordered but that doesn't mean the club didn't buy through another account. Trying to get an idea of how old they are. The adhesive we use is the most aggressive for this application. Age as well as storage environment can cause it to dry out. We haven't changed manufacturers for as long as we have been doing them. 20 years I imagine. I did have a call today about some that were a year old and they referenced this and one other thread on Enos over a year ago, so I searched it and wanted to address it. We have also run into the issue at our local club but found out they were stored outside and hadn't been rotated out. No telling how long they had been stored in that outdoor building. Just remember they do have a shelf life. Doesn't save that much buying in bulk. Maybe 20.00 a case. Better to buy fewer and have fresh pasters than the problems of them falling off.
  7. Well before this is closed let me ad some light to this discussion. Seemed one poster joined Enos just to trash MBX and me. First we took the complaint serious and Adrian took the 3 barrels back from the 3 guys who all were connected somehow. Adrian tested them, videos of 2 test provided. Results were good. So Adrian and I discussed it and I suggested he ask for the gun to test to find out what was going on. They refused. I thought , why? Still don't know except maybe they didn't want Adrian to see and show that the barrel was fine. I just got off the phone with him and he has sold 80 of these barrels with only these 3 complaints. I know one guy said he knew what he was doing and had changed 3 barrels out in the last 2 weeks. So maybe they were just trying a bunch of different ones and returning what they didn't like. Sorry but with the margins in this business I cant eat that loss. And why we don't take back used stuff. I learned a long time ago that some will do things like buy every holster available , try them all and then want to return me used product I cant sell as new. Now Adrian was willing to work with them and resolve it but then the trash talking on here started and the emails to us compared to the talk on here did not match up. He is still working with the 3rd guy. Sent him a complete top end with new barrel to try. He is waiting for responses to that and to get his parts back. This kind of stuff hurts a business and they knew it would. Give us a refund or the trash talk starts. I told Adrian he had to take it head on, I've been down this road before. And why I am here now posting these. But now a perfectly product has been smeared. We just talked about him putting these barrels in his guns exclusively since the results have been great except these 3 guys from the same area. I told him that would be risky given this publicity. Here are the test videos of two of those barrels. https://youtu.be/EMmRYdWoeE8 https://youtu.be/fqF280gC8hQ
  8. We do have some left from our initial order that we will sell at the introductory price for a limited time. Once that ends then they will be the same price everywhere.
  9. Actually it is not identical. The 5.11 bag is identical in design to our old bag since they copied it. So we made ours even better. Our new one has many more features and is designed to be more user friendly. Might take a closer look.
  10. We have had them back in stock for a couple weeks now.
  11. Sarge, you get that price since you are on our sponsorship program for wearing our shirt. That was set up years ago and hasn't changed. I have not heard of an RTS3. There is a new model of the original cmore on the drawing board but is over a year out at least. The only reasoning behind that BF deal was I was prompted by a few people to do one so I picked some items and set pricing to create a frenzy which is what a BF sale is about. Unfortunately this industry does not have profit margins anywhere close to those of the big box stores. They may have 80% profit in clothing and many times will run a loss leader to get people in on electronics and such. So that's what I did on the 6moa rts2 and we sold out. No conspiracy on running inventory low for a new model.
  12. Yes, except for the discount group or dealers. So if we give discounts we cant also pay the 3.5% Am ex fees on top of it. SO its not available to those in those groups.

  13. Not sure who told you that, all my people know its not. I will mention this to them so they know just in case they did say that. Its not identical to any belt, or it wasnt when we had them made, but like our shooting bag I am sure somebody will copy it at some point.
  14. Sorry, belt is not the same as the CR speed. Ours is a little stiffer than Cr speed. Have heard of a few of the first batch keepers coming unstitched. No need to buy a replacement just make a note in your next order and we will throw one in the box at no charge.
  15. Key to sizing is to measure your waist, never go by pant size.
  16. This is a huge issue with target manufacture. The rules state the perfs can not be seen at 10 yards and they state there are to be no perfs on the no shoot side but on the border. (My supplier read "no perfs" on one batch and didnt perf the no shoot side. We did compensate clubs that got them with free targets to use as no shoots, as shoot targets they were perfect. That was a year and a half ago). I know some manufactures have made targets with full perfs all the way through all the scoring lines which makes them easier to see, but they are not legal targets per the specs. Getting the machine to perf one side and not the other is a very difficult task. And there comes the next issue with targets, the thickness in relation to cost of production and shipping. We did play with the idea of doing a thicker target to make it easier to perf but then shipping cost goes out the roof. We also were presneted Monday with a proposal to make a thinner target which would cut shipping in half but this would be harder to make the required perf specs. I am a proponent of changing the specs to allow the perfs to go through the no shoot side which would make production much easier and end this variation. For now we attempt to follow the specs as required and offer the best pricing and value considering all the variables involved.
  17. Here is the email we send out when asked. Its pretty self explanatory. Yes there are some items you wont see a discount on and many manufacturers are implementing and enforcing a MAP policy to protect their product. We try to stay competitive and give very fast service. We do have a discount program that isn't a flat rate discount, it varies from item to item. It applies to about half of the items we offer and the amounts vary. The items it doesn't apply to are already discounted, mostly specialty items from very small manufacturers, items that have really low profit margins, items that are in demand and short supply or items that have manufacturer restrictions on discounting. We flagged your account for the discount. You will automatically get the lower prices on the items that apply WHEN logged in, and adding them to your cart. It will not show you the before and after pricing. To see that you will have to look before logging in and then again after logging in. If you have not created an account we will ad you as soon as you create an account on our web page AND fill out the information , name, address, phone , and let us know its done. In exchange for the discount group you agree to be added to our email list of occasional specials. Unsubscribing also unsubscribes from the discount group.
  18. I saw this and was thinking, wow, what went wrong? So I tracked it. 2 of those days were weekend days and we had a bad snow storm. But Ky to Illiinois wouldnt normally take that long. The key is it was ordered at 11:00 am and ready for pick up at 11:48 am the same day.
  19. Give me a call. 800-387-4045

  20. Thank you all for the response. When i say consistent I mean not temperature sensitive and same results batch to batch. maybe stick with what i know? 3n37.
  21. Running low on 3n37 and was hoping there is a better choice. If not I will get more. Only issue with 3n37 is the case capacity and the mess it makes. So i am looking for a DENSE, SLOW, CLEAN, CONSISTENT powder as an alternative. Dont tell me SP2 unless its available again. What powder do you think even if its stay with 3n37.
  22. Almost forgot about that one. He emailed and told me if I was in business in a year he would buy a bag and give it away to a forum member. You know me, I didn't forget it and sent him an email asking if he was good for his word. No response. His problem was he just thought the bag was too big, he wasn't a competition shooter, he did have the option of exchanging it for full value towards anything else. He tried to extort me using the internet commando threat to get his way. Funny thing is I have had so many calls from customers outside the competition world who were impressed with my handling and bought everything from bags(they were curious as to what he fuss was about ,LOL) all the way to high dollar STI and Wilson Combat guns. I really need to thank him for the publicity. We do not have a restocking fee on returns if we issue a gift certificate or exchange. Our regular customers take this route. We do offer a credit card refund if you request it and the 20% restocking fee. Seldom used and usually by one time, single item customers. I do not think 20% is to high, we could not offer them at all, it costs us 15% to operate, throw the credit card fee on it and its merely a break even proposition. Now that 1 - 5 year old complaint isn't really related to your problem now that I know who you are. You bought a DAA PDR holster and used it but didn't like it and wanted me to take it back used. I don't take back used stuff, as one other poster said , sell it. Seems the DAA holster isn't the only thing you have problems with reading some of your past posts. I can tell you that I dont guarantee you will like anything, everybody has their own opinion and their own expectations, which is fine but I cant take a loss every time you decide you don't like something. You have a chance to make the decision before you decide to keep it or purchase it. This isn't that uncommon. I bought a pair of shoes online and even though a bit uncomfortable I decided to wear them a few days. Well I didn't like them, didn't send them back since it was my decision to wear them, I sold them on Ebay.
  23. JetPow, whoever you are. If you want to bring out a complaint then be man enough to state your name and we will bring up your order history and discuss your problem. Since you decided to make a public slam on us we will discuss your specifics in public. We have nothing to hide as we operate with honor and integrity. We have set policies and we follow them and even bend them sometimes in the customers favor. You will never find one example of us not following our own policies that you agreed to when purchasing. Also if the item is new and unused as you say then we do take returns. So I can say without reservation that your comment is blatantly false. So i will leave your comment up for a few days waiting for your response. If there is no response we will assume you are a troll just grinding an axe and will remove it.
  24. Mike, in your profile you say your real name is Real Name: Mike Dukem I searched different variables of that and cant find an account for you. I was going to look in my junk folder to see if your email went there. We NEVER ignore emails. We also have a phone. But a Bolen follower breaking would be covered under warranty from Bolen if he warranties it. Something caused it to crack. Taran Butler has purchased Bolen and has changed the name to Taran Tactical Innovation. He is changing the follower slightly. We have not received any yet but should soon. Not sure who would be the warranty contact on the old bolen follower. That depends on timing and their arrangement to handle such issues. Not sure why you would choose to make a negative post under what seems to be an anonymous account(at least something doesn't ad up. You assume we got the email to start with. If you need contact info for either parties please give us a call and we will pass it on.
