  1. Wonder if Stoeger is going to debut something sexy at SHOT show. Especially since I have my M3K just how I like it...
  2. I watch fairly regularly. As for influencing my gear selection, it's not even a consideration. Those guys are pros, shooting a course designed for pros to go fast. Actually, my main consideration for gear selection is my wallet, followed closely by what works in my area.
  3. Damn, I thought I had seen all episodes. I just don't remember her being kidnapped
  4. For some reason, I cannot remember Beth. Someone please fill me in a little.
  5. Those low recoil Fiocchi won't run 100% in my gun. Same here, Fiocchi in a no go in mine. Remington Sluggers from WalMart at 1550 fps work well with my LM choke.
  6. Try some Remington Slugger rounds first. My M300 doesn't like Fiochii slugs one little bit.
  7. Whichever technique you practice and can perform every time.
  8. I'm thinking of dabbling into this again. So, among other things, I'll need a shooting coat. What I need to know, if anyone can help, is how they are sized. Would a 48 be like a sports coat 48? I know it's a dumb question, but still vexing for a guy that hasn't worn a suit in 10 years, and buys clothes with letters for sizing. Also, any good sources? Used to be Champions Choice carried coats. Anywhere else? Last one I had was issued, and 100% leather. Thanks! B
  9. This, and because of this, I thank and applaud Jesse and Patrick Kelley for point shooters like me to the Stoeger M3000. As well as the smiths and businesses that support the less than gold standard guns.
  10. Admit it, we've all considered this...
  11. Picked up some ESS glasses of a prize table. My son loves them, but I wear prescription glasses. I'm using very dark Oakley half jackets. They work well when shooting prone for me.
  12. That's because you used a top fuel dragster in a sport designed fo horse and buggy. Load her up and let the big dog eat! Two shells at a time....harrrumph! p.s. I suck at sporting clays, but it is a lot of fun!
  13. Whatever you get, shoot a couple of boxes before you go to your match. Just sayin'
  14. Thanks, makes sense to me. But you had me at the possibility of becoming better looking!
  15. Question for Mr. Kurt. My 16" barrel is shooting sub MOA at 100 yards, with good ammo. It's 16 inches because functionally its just a plain Stag carbine. What are the advantages of getting an 18 or even 20 inch barrel? I'm thinking the extra velocity would be nice, but honestly, it wouldn't make me a better shooter.
  16. Dang, now I gotta go to all those matches to find out if I wanna go again. Life is hard....
  17. So true. I loved the way my JM Pro ran birdshot, but throw in slugs or buck, it was done for the day.
  18. You will need pleased with your 26" barrel. Here's How It looks with a +6.
  19. The 26" with a +6 Nordic tube is asthetically pleasing. Otherwise, IMO, barrel length doesn't matter, except longer is heavier.
