  1. Save time on other things, instead of from shooting, get your hits, no miss....save time on movements, draw, transitions, etc
  2. I use both, plugs and muffs....save your hearing young man?
  3. I would get the .40, you can load minor .40 cal and feels softer on recoil than 9mm, and at least you have the option to shoot major if you want to later. Some of my fellow shooters got the DVC in .40 cal limited division and 9mm major for open and they love it. They also shoots really good with that setup.
  4. Yes, use what works for you....just sharing what works for me, not suggesting you use it....
  5. Yup, don’t put the flame directly on the rod, only close to it, the rod melts with little heat
  6. if you really wanna get really good in something, just gotta practice, practice, practice with it only....with that said, although shooting different events with different gears and rules is fun, I think it will be hard to reach your full potential. If for fun, shoot whenever and whatever events you want. If you wanna shoot for competition seriously, then specialized....You've probably heard the derogatory saying "Jack of all trades, master of none." It implies that by trying to learn many things, you give up mastery of any of them...just my 2cents
  7. I use BOSS Dropped & Offset DOH Holster by Ben Stoeger Pro Shop for my Tanfoglio Stock 2, but found out my CZ Shadow 2 fits perfectly also:)
  8. FYI...You can make the dot bigger or smaller by how much you burn/flare the rod ends.
  9. I used Titegroup for years with no problem. 3.0 TG, 147grs bullet at 1.145-1.150 c.o.a.l...very soft shooting. 3-8-4.0TG, 124grs bullet 1.145-1.150 c.o.a.l....these loads works on my pistols n my PCCs.
  10. With work and family schedule, once or twice a month
  11. Got it a gun show one time. The guy had a booth.
  12. Depends on what your gun like, for reliability and accuracy. Just do the trial and error.
  13. Yes, polish chaffing areas for smoother action
  14. Whenever I get a chance. Depends on work and family schedules.
  15. This is actually another new Sig p320 RX, besides the 2 sig blow outs last match[emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. My friend's 320 rx pictures below, out of battery firing, barrel appears to be short chambered, not enough case support...see pix below Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My friend's sig 320 rx seems to fire out of battery too, and the barrel appears to be short chambered, not enough case support...see pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Store primers and powder separately. I store my powders in a cooler for consistent temp. I store primers in military ammo cans at room temperature.
  19. I disengage the safety coming up from the draw, when muzzle pointed at safe direction/angle. I leave it off after that during COF
  20. I use Hornady LNL, i'ts good if you like tinkering...Dillion is better I think if price does not matter to you.
  21. You didn't measure pressure. That is a dangerous assumption!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You are right...I did not measure pressure, but there were no obvious signs of over pressure (no flatten primers, etc). And I know that I won't know the actual pressure from visible indications for sure. Just sharing my experience. And yes, reloading your own bullets can be dangerous, as well as shooting firearms. Roger that!
  22. My experience last week: Using 125 grs Blue bullets, standard 1911 9mm Spartan pistol 3.6 grs TG, 1.140-1.145 OAL = 997 fps average 3.6 grs TG, 1.115-1.120 OAL = 1023 fps average 3.8 grs Win 231,1.140-1.145 OAL = 974 fps average 3.8 grs Win 231, 1.115-1.120 OAL = 987 fps average As you can see, shorter OAL does increases velocity/pressure and depends also on powder
  23. +1 for the Sig P320 with small grip frame, and can still sanded down further with stipple the grip.
