  1. Having won Open at the SS Nationals last year due to a weight problem. With a gun I know was 41.5, weighed at USP office the week before. I agree we need a better system than the food scale which was purchased at the local Wallyworld. It may be the same for everyone but, that does not mean it is correct! or fair. I'm up for a recall vote of the rule--anyone else? Well I live and learned now the same Gun weighs 2oz's less as does the back-up.
  2. Hi Welcome! Check out the LA USPSA section they are a great bunch of people, a load of fun and you may learn somthin from them. Good Luck
  3. These feeders areGreat and well worth the wait. When had a problem he took care of me ASAP.
  4. The 1050, a great machine! Easy to add a bullet feeder (Kiss bullet feeder). The primer depth seating is adjusted by a screw on the top of the Toolhead, easy. You must change out the primer magazine tip every 20,000 rounds also. No you will not be able to feel the primer setting in the pocket, you'll know there is a problem when the machine binds or a primer falls out as the case is progressed. After that if no primer is in the pocket of course powder will be seen under the shellplate. You can measure your primer depth or just look to see if it is dented by the Swage Rod. If it is just back it off a little.
  5. I think if you shoot minor you can start with 11 rounds 10 in all your magazines one in the tube. I carry six mag's on the belt, in addition I have one to load with and one in the gun at the start.Total of 8. I have been at an Area match (5) where they had a 32 round all steel stage with a Texas star in it. I will never run out of rounds again! Good Luck!
  6. Whats wrong with it? Do you want to sell it?
  7. I have heard of welding in the gap between the two on the grip saftey, so it does not go over to far. It is bad on the hammer hooks to slam them like that over and over. Do you also need a trigger, hammer job, maybe?
  8. Yes reuse them, Practice makes perfect!
  9. This is going to be my warm up for the Double Tap SG. Glad you posted early--- Koppi
  10. Hi, I have used two types of the 10mm mags. Wilson and Metalform both are very good and neither brand have ever stuck in my gun. Some followers get pushed foward onto the feed ramp and stick in the gun. I think Wilson's are the lightest on the market. Also, I use the longest basepads for both brands, both fit in the box. Good Luck Koppi

  12. Hi, Alot of my friends mark thier case to pick them up after shooting. They case gauge first and then mark'em inspecting at the same time. Sometimes they can gauge but still be flawed. Good Luck
