Yes how do you do that, I have flown to many matches and never had a problem. BUT for $15 I would do that. I use two hard suitcases one for the guns, ammo and range bag, one for all my STUFF.

You should all blame the State Government where you live for this problem, here in MN the two Senators we have don't vote the way the majority of the people tell them. They just go on with Obama's bull----- You shouldn't be offended by a company making money, those companies didn't make any of this happen, OUR Government it doing it to all of us. I hope you all are active in your own State so we might all stop this tyranny from going any farther. Bunsen, I didn't know you people could own guns any more----soon you may have the guns but the ammo will be tax 100 percent, than what? My heart goes out to the 2nd amendment patriots there in CA!

2013 USPSA Revolver Nationals
Koppi replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Match Announcements and Discussions
I'm sure this is in another topic but, 2 questions are haunting me. 1. Is it worth the money to put the Ti cylinder on? Should I wait until the original is worn out? 2. Has anyone shot EL Pres lately? and what is your best time with points. Not just HF. -
Home built CNC Mill - Gonna make a 1911

WOW!!! I have enjoyed your topic!! Great work!!! -
We in MN have a sinister Section Coordinator. He designed a stage this last year with a partially blocked out Star. What fun! Any way-- Ben S. shot what ever he could hit with his 5 shots and moved on. He did win the stage. And We had a +++ 32 round stage. Check us out for this years Section Match, 300 rounds one day. We'll also have that darn Bobber on a stage.

Hi, Please be careful with what you do next. It could cost you many $$$$ to fix. I would suggest you get a video from AGI or some other gunsmith training company. There is also a lot of information on u-tube. This advise is coming from an old man who was once young and tried to "fix" his first 1911. I could have bought a Wilson for the money I waisted. Good luck!

Has anyone else noticed that dry fire just does not cut it for re-load training? I did a lot of it, (dry fire). Went to the range and found out, it's not even close the the real thing when it comes to the un-load, re-load. Need more ammo--- I did watch the JM vid up on here and learned a lot from a 5 sec clip right at the end.

What pound recoil spring is in it? i.e. 22lbs? that is to strong for a 160 PF if your taking the recoil in your bent arms. Try a 14 or 16lbs. Check your crimp, If your bullets are pushed in, that can case it to stop also. good luck

Hi, Since you didn't receive the goods, it seems to me the shipper did not hold up their end of the bargain. No matter what happened to the item. In my opinion they should ship another one.

Look at midwayusa.com Good luck

Don't most or all stage descriptions say "steel must fall to score"? Rule 4.3.1.5 "Metal plates are not subject to calibration or challenge" rule 4.3.1.6. We don't paint our Star at our L1 matches. Does any one else? We had almost the same problem as JAFO, the Shooter hit one of the plates on the star. This star has the two holes in it on the bottom of the plate to help aline it. The plate came of one of the holes and hung there. The Shooter was not stopped and kept on shooting at it until it was hit again and fell. The R.O. and the Score'er had a talk and decided that because the Shooter kept shooting and made the plate fall there was no reshoot. My question is, had the Shooter left the plate would it be a reshoot? if so, Why?

Bubber, have you shot the SSN before? I'm guessing not-- they never post stages. Your best bet is to go on u-tube and look for vid's of past matches. The stages tend to trend and basically stay ---almost the same--- they do have one all steel stage alot of times with a 6 inch plate some where. Good luck

2013 USPSA Revolver Nationals
Koppi replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Match Announcements and Discussions
Rob, I have a load you might try with 230 ball, 4.2 or so of vv310, fed 150. I have shot it out of 4, 5 and 6 inch guns, the load seems to stay very close to 166 to 168 PF and clean. Empties come out with ease. Let my know how or if you like it should you try it. BTW it's no where near as hot as Tight Group on the hand after 18 rounds. -
Shoot the A's, if you take the time to do the math you'll find-- The point (.9) or whatever it is, not worth the C,C or C,D and for sure not D,D. Over all in a match consistent speed and points will do you right.

Hey Craig, You got a wheel gun-- come shoot the Rev Nat's

Yes Manny, we use them for our Section matches.

Finally the snow is melted enough to have a match in MN this thursday. Cold or not it is about time!

Should USPSA allow 8-shot minor in Revolver Division?
Koppi replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Forum
Thanks Carmoney, But is the Ti worth the expense? I agree with you TGO--- I got the 8 just in case! -
Can you seat primers too deep? Without even trying
Koppi replied to Norther's topic in Revolver Forum
I agree with Carmoney on the seating to the bottom of the cup. I make sure that I have a slight witness mark on the primer. With the practice I have been doing, not one misfire in 2,000 reloaded mixed cases. And I do mean mixed. -
Should USPSA allow 8-shot minor in Revolver Division?
Koppi replied to Carmoney's topic in Revolver Forum
I think that by having a separate Revolver match for more than one year, will effectively entice more people to shoot the division-- Do you guys agree? One other issue with this match may be the timing of the weekend! I know of two guys in MN that are not shooting it because of Mother's Day. I think I heard someone say they where going to use a titanium cylinder. Is the thought that the weight reduction would reduce the peening effect?
