After one-too-many "bolt over" malfunctions with USGI mags using the green followers, I've been using Pmags w/o any problems. Not to mention that, IMHO, they are 100% easier to disassemble for cleaning.

You left out Matt McLearn - won the USPSA Nationals and the IPSC World Shoot in 1993 using guns he built himself.

The Emag might solve your problem - as it doesn't have the ridges on it that the Pmag does. If you take the mag catch out of your AR, do the Pmags still go in difficult? If not, you might need to file down the bottom of the mag catch.

That doesn't guarantee that the computer won't die. One of our iMacs toasted its logic board. Had a similar thing happen to our Mac Book Pro. Luckily, both were still under warranty.

Any video camera that uses an internal hard drive to record will be heavier and more fragile than a comparable camera that uses an internal flash drive (i.e. solid state w/ no moving parts) or removable memory cards. If you anticipate running with the camera or having it jostled around (or children will be using it), it is probably better to avoid a camera with a hard drive.

Chuck is selling them for MSRP. You are not going to find Pmags for less than that, but you will find *a lot* of people trying to sell them for 2x - 4x MSRP.

Shooters Connection or CPWSA seem to be getting resupplied w/ pmags quite frequently.

I have a 308 AR that was built by JP using DPMS's LR-308 upper and lower receiver (before JP came out with their own). It is very well built and haven't had any problems with it. As far as magazine availablity - there are 2 types - mags that fit the Armalite AR10 and mags that fit everything else - the DPMS LR308/JP 308/SR25, etc. The mag that works in the Armalite AR10 will not work in the other guns and vice versa. The DPMS magazines are pretty good - I haven't had any problems with them. Magpul is coming out with PMags (called the LR-20) for DPMS LR308/JP 308/SR25 rifles. You can pre-order them from Brownells for $19.95 each under part number 100-004-161. You have to call Brownells to pre-order, rather than use the website.

This is not meant to be a political discussion, but under the old AW ban, the AW had to be configured as an AW prior to the enactment of the ban for it to be grandfathered. Under some of the AW bans now being proposed, similar grandfather language appears.

The Armalite will be a small pin reciever. Only Colt's have a sear block. The sear block is easy to remove. It doesn't affect the functionality of the rifle. It was added back in the day when Colt was trying to be PC.

The ACR was supposed to be ready for sale by 1st Q 2009. In November 2008, the ACR was submitted to the Army for trials (for their M4 replacement program) which is going to delay production even longer. Once the Army goes over it, they will most certainly have "suggestions" on things that should be changed. Bushmaster/Magpul will make the changes and resubmit. That could add another year or so until it is put in production. There wasn't even an ACR at the Bushmaster booth at this year's SHOT Show, only at Magpul's booth. I would not be surprised if the Massoud (AR10) is available for sale before the ACR is.

I don't like it. I can't seem to get the same "feeds" that I got before. The only time I get notified when a friend does something is when they update their status. I'm not getting the updates when they play mob wars, superpoke someone, etc. I've looked all through the help section but don't know how to fix it.

I saw it last night (note to self, don't go to a 9:50pm showing of a movie that is almost 3 hours long). It was good, but I had trouble following the plot, as did the 2 other people I saw it with. I think that if you've read the comic, it makes more sense.

?!?!? I don't know of any court cases that support this proposition. It is an old Ayoob tale used to sell magazines and books.

JP is excellent to deal with. They built a .308 for me using a DPMS LR308 upper and lower (this was about 9 months before JP started building their own .308 rifles).
