  1. just bought this morning 2k 115g fmj from precision delta. yesterday i bought case of 2900 hornady 124fmj from bluecollarreloading. both showing in stock, not pre-orders.
  2. more is always the right answer! yeah don't hesitate to ask others to fondle their guns after a match, never heard of anyone saying no.
  3. i did it a few months ago and to be honest, not really sure what i did... it wasn't super intuitive, at least to me and i fumbled around but finally got it working. try to find the 'reloading' section. then there's a page where you select the 'in-stock notifications' you want to receive (such as 'powder' 'projectiles' and various primer options). you'll get a popup on your computer when someone posts what you're looking for (eg powder) is in stock and just click on the link to go to the company's website. make sure you're logged in on the various company websites and have accounts set up with shipping address, credit card, etc.
  4. you guys need to get on 'discord.' i've seen plenty of vv powder and have bought 3n38 and n320 multiple times this year. it will send notices to your phone and/or pc when folks post it in stock.
  5. in stock now https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1269537042
  6. were the answers above for 9 minor or major or does it make a difference?
  7. just keep on the lookout for 3n38, seen it drop "numerous" times over last couple months. i've bought it from powder valley in jan and natchez in feb and stopped looking after that but have seen it.
  8. f........k, really? was hoping with new brass i'd get rid of this crappy step!!
  9. so if you have brand new brass (eg, starline, 38 super in this case), do you still run it thru your sizing die, or just skip that step? i did put some in my chamber checker and actual chamber and it fit fine. not sure it matters, but i'm using a dillon 750. thanks!
  10. if you haven't bought anything yet, they have more EPC components on their website now. they've sold out several times so keep checking back. but if you're not comfortable with assembly, you can get their "complete" upper (that's what they call it, but it is their upper, a barrel and a handguard) and a complete lower including a brace. then you'll need their bolt and charging handle.
  11. interesting. i just had them mill one of my STI's for an optic and then a few days later, i don't see 2011 milling as an option on their website.
  12. 4# in my gen 3 zev oz9 lower and aftermarket upper. Very little take up. So a ways from their advertised 3#. Dot connector. Suggestions appreciated on lightening!
  13. know the thread is on april 1 but i don't like the dillon dies. that u-pin allows for a little play and at least the seating die is harder to get right vs all the other brands where the stem screws in to set the seating depth.

    Glock 48 Front Sight

most of my competition glocks have the warren/sevigny competition sights - rear wide notch, front fiber optic. when i got my 43x (for aiwb carry) i ordered it with nite sights and i really like them and put them on a sd/hd g31 https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/sights/sight-sets/agent-3-dot-proglo-set-for-glock-10-45-357sig-sku100026285-113320-212063.aspx
  15. yeah i wouldn't be happy with that brass if it was advertised as sized etc. from what i've read, h335 is the best powder for 223 blaster loads (55g etc). i've loaded .223 in a single stage (turret) press (2 dies - deprime/size, and bullet seater) and now have the caliber conversion kit and quick change kits to do this on my dillon 750.
  16. http://www.1911store.com/lightningrodfiberopticfrontsightsforstisv.aspx their two sight models that have a recessed FO rod (manny & micro) both say .04 diameter. edit, now that i see your pic, you don't have the recessed, so per emily latella, never mind...
  17. atlanta arms makes regular length .40 180gammo that is 1.125 and they make long that is 1.175. precision delta long ammo is 1.180. [per both their websites] i've been using the atlanta regular in my brazos hp sti edge and it's run 100%. but for some reason i have them building me their semi-custom and they said to load to 1.200.
  18. how's the takeup? and, what springs, connector etc did you use? thanks
  19. idpa allows single action CO guns. believe there are still size/weight limits plus no ports etc.
  20. i (pretty new to reloading) did some pcc test loads yesterday with titegroup and e3 and decided to go with e3, just a hair more accurate. i'm not good enough to compare recoil impulse etc.
  21. so you guys that lube cases despite using carbide sizing dies, what if anything (and when in the process) do you do afterwards to get that lube off?
  22. is the 9mm version of this a little looser than the egw 7 round gauge? i put rounds in there that stick (because of the bullet profile) but they plunk and work just fine in my actual guns (2011 and pcc). to be clear, after sizing the casings themselves fit in the egw no problem. it does seem they don't strictly case gauge as they do make a .40xl which they presumably wouldn't have to make if they were just measuring the actual casing and not the loaded round incl bullet?
  23. $224 primers, $13 tax, $20 hazmat, $15 coupon code, $242 shipped ("free," edge shipping)
