  1. 1 SET your crimp to .375 with a winchester case any more and you will damage the SNS coating 2 Your gauge is to tight for coated lead projectiles its meant for jacked ( and still to tight) I use a modified hornady to case gauge ammo.fyi
  2. springer makes a guide rod to use 1911 springs and they go down to 5# https://shop.springerprecision.com/SP-Solid-Stainless-XDm-Guide-Rods-Factory-Replacement-SP0172.htm
  3. YOU WET CLEAN YOUR BRASS DONT YOU. This is the common denominator on all these "strange squib" threds.
  4. the 550/750 primer slide has an adjustment screw that controls in out travel. the mounting screws center it side to side.trash in the system will cause binding appearing as a timing issue.
  5. Magma makes NLG molds that can be adapted to hand held mold handles. http://www.magmaengineering.com/
  6. OK ill take a stab at this first you should be looking at 10# ish recoil springs. second the fast powders you have been using make more gas than most thanck. Have loaded auto comp with 5gr behind a 124 jhp to make a similar set up run. Auto comp needs psi to burn clean would suggest a magnum primer.
  7. Current Herters shot shells are made by winchester . Pretty good chance the center fire ammo is also.
  8. Just a guess but contamination .
  9. yes they are interchangeable.only difference the 1050s are heat treated.
  10. what is your length? would need to be less than 1.120 to work in a PSA.
  11. every one i have seen try to run steel or aluminum case ammo has had extraction issues.
  12. rwagner24 spend some time it the revolver form . the answer to your problem is there. ill give you a hint bullet selection .you also find that the 929s bore is not 9mm but .357 and a twist that begs for heavy bullets (SNS 160RN). use real jacked bullets not plated. to get a plated bullet to stay put you have to all but cut the plating (not good). Heavy (147 up) coated bullets work much better. again spend some time in the revolver section this has been discussed to great length. let the bickering continue
  13. over crimping will actually make the bullets loose
  14. how about this or this just a little looking or seek and you will find
  15. you are correct the stroke is much longer .I looked at the video @11:20 and it has a lot more up stroke than a S1050.
  16. looking at a super 1050 the hande set in the same setting (middle) at the top full up is even with the priming system to slightly toward me . the pic of the 1100 it appears past the priming system approximately 2 more inches of up ward stroke ,but this is a pic from a bad angle to make an accurate comparison.
  17. Your 115s are to long shorten them to 1.135 and re test the growing length is somewhat normal. thanch of it as the same action as a hammer type bullet puller. if 1.135 still hits then try 1.130 etc as long as you can unload without a bullet sticking you really are ok.
  18. Will add when was the last time you cleaned the primer system ? cleaning media / powder /carbon in the sliding part will do this .
