  1. Be aware that the FW one referenced is for Rifle not pistol. May not work for 45acp.
  2. Try your every day prescription. You may be surprised as to how well it works. I tried all the special set ups . Every one of them had issues.
  3. If you are using a lot of crimped cases you definitely need the hold down rod. If not then any of the expander dies will preform similar. Their are aftermarket hold down dies. I have a mighty armory one on my process head . If buying today I would look at the FW armory one. Another option would be to have the shaft "turned down "to a slightly smaller diameter. I still use the Dillon die on my individual load heads. I am not experiencing your issue.
  4. Push the up button several times. Make sure the battery has - up and+ down. Test the battery . The first one I received was dead.(HS407C) Make sure the plastic wrap isn't still on the battery.
  5. Back when you could actually get this ammo . We came to the conclusion that the "365 Ammo" . Was just a marketing gimmick. The ammo marked 1185fps was the same as the one marked 1050. You may get different results.
  6. I take it you meant Decapping. Everyone should own some brand/type of decapping die.
  7. You may not like my suggestion. Buck up butter cup. Knock the primers out. Then clean up your press. Reuse if you feel they are good. Inspect for missing anvils before reusing.
  8. My tool heads are 10 ish years old. They were purchased at a whole sale price. That was less than 50% of current price.
  9. Dillon. Expensive but worth it.
  10. Am I the only one using a seperate tool head? Process head universal decap. / swage hold down/ then around the other side a lee undersize.
  11. Add zip ties between bullet drop station and seating station. I would add them to all the stations. This will cut down on case wobble. . When you automate there is often a lot of little issues not one big one . That needs to be addressed. Don't be afraid to slightly over flare your cases. I tend to get better results from https://www.photoescapeinc.com/products/powder-funnel.html on expansion. ( gave link to his basic units/ he has specialty units)
  12. First your cases are to clean. That is why they stick to the expander. Tumble in corn cobb with a little wax. The M die is an expander die. If you don't need to swage. You could add it to that station. It would help with your case sticking. You do know this comes up every 30ish days?
  13. Bodyguard 380 in front pocket. If it gets cold enough have a 43X with Holosun 407K. Behind hip. 19 in console with Holosun 407C. If I go hunting / or otherwise out in the woods Ruger 1911 in 10MM.
  14. if you wont to stick with Dillon . the powder die for the AT550 https://www.dillonprecision.com/at-500-powder-die_8_4_23631.html
  15. In this order AA7 HS6 AUTOCOMP Never tried WIN 572. The order I have given. Represents the results of a test from a few years ago. Were I tried coated bullets from several manufactures. They are my list of least fouling to most. How hard to remove the fouling. Each was a 1k test. They all fouled a lot more than JHP. AA7 was about the same as FMJ. So I could see someone using coated.
  16. Can they be loaded? Yes Should they be loaded? Have you ever seen a magnesium fire? The cases have a coating. once the coating is removed. They can ignite. One time wet cleaning removes the coating. 3 times cleaning with corn/walnut removes the coating. Up to you.
  17. 7:10pm 12/9/21 Midway USA has Clay Dot (8lb) in stock. They also have Hodgen Clays (4lb) and Universal(4lb). CCI small and large pistol primers.
  18. When I shoot my 929 with red dot. I am in open. Moving to open is correct.
  19. yes correct spelling. It is junck. There are a few others change one letter. Make it look like some thing else. Haven't seen any in a while.
  20. Spend some time hear https://www.shotgunworld.com/forums/shotshell-reloading.13/ best place for information. Alerts on availability. Wear to get stuff etc. On primer size their saying and in my own measuring . Current Cheddites and Winchesters are the same size. win 209s are .0005 larger than Remington and Federal. Finocchi are definitely larger than Winchester (.001 )
  21. A lot of wads are as hard to get as powder and primers.
