  1. use this to get the part numbers of the parts you need. put them in a email. Or order them. Or call them. https://www.dillonprecision.com/square-deal-square-deal-b-individual-parts_8_43_25379.html Apparently they have changed the kits. I sold off all my SD presses some time ago. The two spare parts kits had the bushings and a few other parts. They dont show or list anymore. Also in these times . It may be best to just order the parts you need.
  2. Spare parts kit. should have the parts you need. Try calling again or use ther email system. Don't reference the first call. It will just delay a response. And cause other issues.
  3. Don't have any spp 45 acp brass. But do see the logistics behind it.
  4. just for reference my 9mm plate is .472-.473 thick
  5. thickness .475-.479 # cut outs 18 with between two of them 1.30 and 1.310 yes they are different rest of them .405-.407 open part for bullet .482-.483
  6. if you can put a diagram up. show and label the measurements you need .(123 or abc) I will see what I can do.
  7. The Glocks that have issues. Are the compact ones . Not full size. Some times I come across a little harsh. This is one of those times.
  8. Go back and read I gave you the answer . SWC work just fine. H&G 68 style work. My standard Bullseye ammo for my custom 1911. Works fine. All this in a Glock 41. Also worked in a 21 that I had years ago. Know several other people with Glocks . No issues. I also said for you the 45acp was a very good option. Over all length is the key. Most people who have issues . Don't understand this.
  9. Just a little opersavation. Large pistol primers have been more available .Than small pistol primers.
  10. Walnut Lizard heading at a pet store/ isle .
  11. They help. I load for my self and four other high volume shooters. My only issue is they were out very fast. If i was only loading for my self. They would be fine.
  12. I would keep the 1050 . Sale the 650. Don't know about were you are but 80% of the 9mm brass that I get needs to be swaged. After you sale your 650 . Buy spare tool head. One would be set up for 9mm. You will still have the 223. That will leave you with a spare. For other calibers etc. If you do this correctly. You will still have money left over.
  13. When Winchester cancelled orders and said no new orders till . Mid 2022. Wholesale price was $55.00+ @ 1000. Wholesale price can change very quickly. Could go up or down . Without any warning.
  14. That maybe the best thing for you. Unlike rifle pistol cases get shorter not longer . As they are used over and over. 9mm cases and all pistol cases for that matter don't very that much. Happen to know a few bench rest shooters that don't trim ther rifle cases.
  15. Haven't ground down a tool head. But. I did drill and tap a 550 one from the side. To insert an Allen screw to lock a die down. There was just not enough room to put a lock ring on top or bottom of.
  16. First I am not saying that MBF doesn't wear out. But. Could it be that it just needs a good cleaning. Just started having issues on a press that has over 100k on a MBF. After removing it noticed it had a build up of "brass" on it. Under certain light it was brass colored. Not a bur or buildup of any kind. Cleaned it ,polished it, put it back on the press. Adjusted . Works as good as new. I have a spare just in case. But don't see the need to change to it.
  17. Have these on my 1050. if I had a 750 this is what I would get. https://reloadinginnovations.com/collections/dillon-750 Have this on my 550. it will also work on the 750 https://inlinefabrication.com/collections/dillon/products/skylighttm-led-lighting-kit-for-the-dillon-650 Both companies are great to work with . Both have excellent customer service.
  18. other threads video has a bracket fashioned to set the catch bin on top of the auto drives belt guard. Believe it or not I am not trying to argue with you. I truly would like to know how this could work. The case would be coming out as the handel lines up with station 3. Now if the timing is just right it may miss the handel . But wear does it end up. Wear do you end up setting the bin to catch the brass?
  19. Grumpy one posted all most word for word what I was going to recommend. I have either owed or used every press Dillon has. The 550 is the most dependable / reliable. Currently have two Dillon presses a 550 and 1050. Could go back to just the 550 tomorrow and not miss a thing.
