  1. In 40, my capacity remained the same but I could not reload into them reliably. I have mags with the +20% that only see 20 rounds and some with the original springs that get 21 when needed.
  2. You’ve got a world and national champ right down the road. @T_T http://www.travistomasie.com/course-schedule.html
  3. MasterPiece Arms has their DS40 offering. The website shows it coming with an aluminum grip but will ship with a steel one. Their steel grip design is something they have been working on for a while now. I just got mine in with the aggressive texturing.
  4. I suspect this. When I switched from CZ limited guns to 2011s, I tried some of my CZ ammo in my 2011s out of curiosity. I experienced the sensation you are trying to explain. If and when you lengthen your ammo and try different profile bullets, pay close attention to how they feel when feeding. That “catching” when feeding is more noticeable when using truncated or flat nose bullets versus round nose bullets.
  5. They did the same for me when I cracked a frame on a DVC Limited Island Barrel 40 earlier this year. They didn't have another DVC to replace it with so they replaced it with a Staccato XL in 40.
  6. While you wait for the springs to come in, you can clip a 1/4 of a coil from the spring and it will work. I don’t recommend running it this way long term but it will get you running for now.
  7. Have you checked your extractor tension? When I tried the extra power extractor springs, I had failures to feed as well. Too much tension and the case cannot slide up underneath the extractor hook. It shouldn't take much to slide a case underneath the extractor hook but there should be enough tension for a case to be held in place even if you vigorously shake your slide assembly.
  8. The Hodgdon website shows 2.7-3.2 grains of titegroup for a 95 gr FMJ. I am in the same situation. I like to shoot my carry and home defense guns regularly and reloading for them is the only real way to that right now.
  9. I can’t remember what the weights were but I think this is talked about in the TSO threads in the CZ section. When I ran the TSO’s, I ended up throwing those springs away and running Cajun Gun Works recoil and hammer springs.
  10. Anyone know of a shop who has done the old STI saber cuts before? Looking to get them done to the front of this legend but local shops I’ve talked to wont attempt it.
  11. I never ran buffers after testing them initially. Regardless of my spring combinations.
  12. How is the tension on the extractor? Too much tension can cause this. I experienced this when I replaced my extractor springs to extra power springs in my CZs.
  13. This was discussed a couple years back in the CZ section and some good info can be found there. With that being said, I previously ran CZs exclusively but recently switched to the 2011 platform. I have only had 4 matches using my 2011s and my initial thought is “I haven't gained or lost anything” by switching platforms. I feel it is still too earlier for me to have a good opinion comparing the two but I will be back to share my thoughts when I have more time behind these guns.
  14. Here is another one I did and used JB weld this time around. Much easier to work with!
  15. I used 60/90 grit on my 2011. I had done another gun previously with 36 grit and thought it was too aggressive. I bought the silicone carbide and 30 minute epoxy off of Amazon.
  16. Is your over travel set too fine? Test it using this: https://czcustom.com/knowledge-base/how-to-install-a/cz-trigger-over-travel-screw-test.html If you find your over travel was set too fine, I would suggest changing the sear and hammer at a minimum. When I experienced this, I tried changing just my sear but my hammer was also too far gone to salvage. I personally would suggest changing the sear, sear spring, hammer and hammer spring. You will have everything tore apart and this would be a good opportunity to change them out. If your over travel is fine, I would suspect a worn/weak sear spring allowing your sear to bounce. Luckily your gun is catching half cock not allowing it to fire.
  17. Red Hill Tactical holster on a CR Speed C-BAX production hanger.
  18. I have 2 in 40. What’s the reason for the question?
  19. Wow! Flattered to hear your guys’ decision was based off of some of my videos. I am just an “Average Joe” and am very humbled by this. Thank you guys for supporting my channel. I try my best to showcase the CZ platform.
  20. I made a video to help out another TSO owner regarding this. The only thing that has changed for me since making the video is I use 180 gr Gallant Bullets now. I hope this helps.
  21. I started shooting limited division with a couple CTS’ from CZ Custom and have been shooting a couple of TSOs for the last year. After cracking a slide on one of my CTS’, I made it a point to try and be as competitive as I could be with the TSOs with minimal modifications. Even though I have never competed with a 2011 platform, I do not feel the TS platforms have held me back. I win local matches and have placed well at major matches, to include winning last years Idaho Sectional, and am only getting better with them. If the TS platforms work for you ergonomically, I say be different and hunt the 2011s. If you like being able to change a bunch of parts to make something work better for you, the 2011 might be your best option.
  22. Just a rainy local match up here in Northern Utah.
  23. My vote goes to Red Hill Tactical. As for the CR Speed hanger, I also run that hanger and I cut the rod once I got the height adjusted where I wanted it.
  24. 50 degree weather in February? I’m not complaining one bit!
