  1. I guess I'm the lucky one for this match. I won a slot at the MS Classic. Freebie!!!. Can't wait.
  2. Looking for someone that has reloaded 223 with Accurate 2230. Just picked up some and don't know what to expect with it. This will be for my AR. Thanks
  3. Here's what I had to do to mine. I have a Schuemann barrel that is really tight. I had the edge of the chamber reamed just enough to clean up the edge. I then purchased a Redding GRx die and run my new brass through it and I already am using a Lee U die. And finally, I had to start using .400 bullets and NOT .401. Problem gone.
  4. Since you shoot the HeMan division with it, call it The "Heman". I'm liking Thunderbolt as well.
  5. I'll play. Shock and Awe or Muzzle Magic
  6. Thanks Darren. What if you stipple a black grip and then krylon and cerakote/durakote the grip?
  7. I hate asking these questions b/c they make me sound really ignorant but if you don't know, I guess you hae top ask. It seems all the STI stippled grips are black and you never see the red, OD green, FDE, blue,etc.. Does it have something to do with the melting process?
  8. This may be a very stupid idea but why don't you try what we do in USPSA at the "Make Ready" command. Load one rd out of a another mag then exchange for a full mag. First mag being a 20rd mag downloaded to say 5rds.
  9. Akkid, a friend of mine had Shay put it on his and he said it made a significant difference in felt recoil. Shay is building mine now and i'm having it put on mine. For the cost, well worth it IMO.
  10. Steve, I'm having a brain freeze today. What is a "competition master"? Is that a name of a type stock?
  11. Does anyone know of a good aftermarket stock for a Rem 1100. Right now I am using the wooden OEM stock but would like to swap it out for a good recoil absorbing stock if such an animal exists. Thanks
  12. Go with the 147 Bayous and they won't let you down. They shoot excellent and Mr. Donnie is a pleasure to work with.
  13. Does anyone have any idea where 43pts. in 6.96sec comes in?
  14. Where do you find this qms and hyperfire triggers? Need to something with mine but don't know what?
  15. Mark, what is the range address so we can plug it into our fancy phones to guide us there?
  16. I personally have not tried 748 but a friend of mine uses both. He uses 335 for runnin' and gunnin' and he uses 748 for hi power matches for accuracy.
  17. Love it. Thanks Ken. Is it what you were going for?
  18. I don't use mine anymore. Primers would get stuck in primer shoot and also primers would flip causing major problems in matches. I can't afford to use it anymore.
  19. Hello: I'm using 4.5 - 4.6gr of WST with my 180 bayou pills in my AET sighttracker and it runs great, except for the occasional glocked brass that gets thru. Be wary of these.
  20. Hello: I am presently shooting a Rem. 1100 at our local shotgun matches and I am using the origianl buttstock. I would like to put a real good recoil pad on it but do not know which ones are good. Can anyone recommend a really good pad? Thanks
  21. I am wanting a 5.5" sight tracker myself. How do ;you like yours so far? I have a 5" tracker now and love it.
  22. I to bought one of the VP's and had some trouble with it initially, especiaaly with SPP's, but after I figured out how to tilt it and tap on it they started loading fine with very few stuck primers. Now the bad part. I loaded up rounds for the MS Classic using the VP and you will not believe how many sideways primers I had stuck into the brass. It was awful. Cost me a ton of time. Lesson - if you use it, double check your loaded ammo after you load using a VP. I have gone back to using pick-up tubes. This thing will bite you in the ass.
  23. Send it to Shay at Akai Custom and then you'll feel one that feels like it's on ball bearings. helluva a gunsmith.
  24. I just got my Kimber back from Clark Custom and their load for testing is a 185 gr Nosler over Bullesye powder and the test target came in with a 6 out 10 shot group within a inch square at 50yds in a Ransom Rest.
