C'mon guys. Let's have 'em. We can all benefit from sharing of these drills.People get burnt out on their same ol drills and might need to spice it up a little bit.

I use that one myself. I also have one that has 5 targets. T1, T2 about 1ft apart at 7yds, T3 set back 5yds, T4, T5 about a ft. apart at 7yds also. Start at T1, shoot 1 shot and transition to T3, then transition to T2 and back to T3, Shoot T4 then back to T3 and then T5 and back to T3. You can take 2 shots per target but each time, transition to T3. You can do strong hand, weak hand, reload, etc. You can increase distance or decreae it. Lots of variations here. Give it a try and good luck

Hello Nimitz. I started the thread so maybe people would post some of their drills so that others may see them and get some good drills to practice on. Some beginners don't know where to start and they could pick up some really good drills here if people would post some. That was my thinking anyway.

OK guys, I was wondering what kinds of drills other guys are doing for improvement. I'm sure everyone has a couple of go to drills so I would like to know what others are doing. If you don't mind, please post some drills you are using. Someone else just might learn something.

Hello: I was wondering if there was such a thing as a shotgun match grade barrel and if so, how are they any better than OEM barrels?

You can 19rd mags with the shadow. More trigger time and less loading time. I have a Shadow for USPSA and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. Would like to try the Accu-shadow this time though.

Well, I have run the Lucas gun oil for awhile now and I found it leaves some room for improvement. Although it applied well and clung to where I put it, it attracted to much residue and seemed to slow things down some. Since I am not the kind to clean after every shot, I need the oil to lubricate efficiently until I do clean it, about every 2K rounds.

This was a great match. You will be hard pressed to find a better match anywhere. Like Sam said, this match is here to stay and I believe will become a premier match in the South. Thanks to Mark, Sam and all the crew.

I made the switch and glad I did and you will be too. It took some dry firing and a couple of matches and then it will become subconscious action. Depends on you really.

I haven't used 231 but have used its twin, HP-38 with 147gr Bayou Bullet and 3.6gr with it had good luck

Update: I tried everything you guys suggested but still wouldn't run. Before our local match yesterday, I decided to go ahead and clean it. Sprayed it down real good with gun scrubber, re-oiled with Gunzilla CLP and a very small amount of Mobil 1. It ran like a scolded cats ass. I had put some Lucas gun oil on it awhile back and it is like a clingy oil and I'm thinking powder residue and whatever clung to it also and it slowed down the trigger group enough that I was outrunning the trigger so to speak. Any problem resolved and thanks for everyone's help. Maybe this will help someone else.

SCCOOORRREEEDDD!! Mine came in Saturday. When I ordered I thought I was on the backorder list and then it showed up. If it showed up my mistake, remember possession is 9/10's of the law. It really does make a difference.
