Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Thanks guys.....I did look on the Hodgdon website first, but only saw a 115gr lead and HP bullet load specs, so that is why I was asking the Forum.... I decided not to load with CFE afterall, and went back to my N320 loads that I have used for years..
  2. I just bought some 115gr Xtreme RN bullets (not the heavy-plated ones)....I am loading to 1.140 OAL on these, with CFE Pistol powder... What would be the range of powder loads?...minimum to maximum Thanks
  3. Does anyone know how to get a Tactical Sport Orange model? I heard that there aren't any in the U.S. but Canada got a few...and that there might be a limited supply in the U.S. in 2016
  4. So if you don't need the sizer die, after you size, trim and tumble, do you take the sizer die out of the progressive 550B, pour the cases into the casefeeder and position #1 would then put the primer in?
  5. I did deprime and size the brass before I trimmed and tumbled my brass...then I loaded my prepped brass into my Dillon casefeeder and the first casing that I started to put the primer in got stuck in the deprime/sizing die after the casefeeder fed it into position...what am I missing here?
  6. I have reloaded pistol for 3 years now and am new to rifle reloading with 223/556.. After I tumble, prep and trim my brass, I have to lube my brass again to set the primers, powder and bullets (3 RCBS dies in a Dillon 550B)... Can I throw the loaded ammo into my tumbler, with media, and tumble them for awhile to get rid of the case lube on the brass, or should I just go shoot them with a little lube on them?...if I just go shoot them, wouldn't that get my AR a lot dirtier to clean?
  7. Thanks guys...I am set up and pumping out 223's
  8. I have a Dillon 550B that has a casefeeder and I love it for pistol reloads.. I called Dillon and asked about what I needed for converting the casefeeder to 223..the guy at Dillon told me that I needed the rifle plate to go into the casefeeder, and the 223 adaptor at the bottom of the tube (it is for a 650 Dillon and it is black) and the 380 feed ramp...he said that this would work on a 550B I got it all set up and turned the casefeeder on and the casings don't stay vertical to feed into the baseplate when I pull the handle...they come falling out of the black 223 adaptor piece and start piling up on top of each other....so right now, I cannot use the casefeeder at all... Any suggestions?
  9. CFE Rifle is great..hasn't been out that long, but your rifle is cleaner after shooting than H335..both Hodgdon products
  10. I have medium-sized hands and my new TS was way too large of grips...I ordered the thin aluminum grips, but still too large of grips...when I was in a match and had to draw from a surrender stance, I always felt like I had to massage my grip before I fired the first shot....slowed my times and my Hit Factors were affected.... So, I had the checkering ground off the grip (front and back) and put a thin strip of griptape on...it is now perfect for me...my times, in my matches, have gone down and my Hit Factors have gone up.. Unless you have large hands or super long fingers, the TS needs some work AND the thin aluminum grips from Angus at CZ Custom
  11. If you have large hands/fingers, the factory grip is good, except the grip is mediocre.. I went with the thin Aluminum grips and it felt better, but I still did not feel 100% in my grip when drawing from a holster in USPSA matches...I have medium-sized hands/fingers.. I had a gunsmith take the checkering off the front and back straps and I then put on grip tape...front and back Now, I feel 100% and it feels like an extension of my arm
  12. I have owned a 9mm TS for almost a year now and it never ceases to amaze me as to what a great "out-of-the-box" shooter it is.... I like to tinker with my guns, so I did a few mods to it... Put adjustable sight on rear and FO on the front Went with a stainless guide rod Bought the thin aluminum grips Went with a stainless magwell..had to get the mag extensions to work with the magwell, but I can load 22 rounds of 9mm I also own a very expensive STI Custom 6" Edge that was custom built.... The CZ Tactical Sport shoots just as well at half the price !! Hats off to Angus Hobdell on the phenomenal trigger on the TS

    eerw trigger work

What is Stuarts' phone number and address, please
  14. I would go a little longer, since the barrel tolerance will take it longer... Try 1.18, then 1.19, then 1.2...my guess is that it will still load 1.2
  15. I have a 9mm TS and love it....I would get them for sure, since they are hard to find... Use it in steel matches and fun shoots..dead accurate I changed the sights to adjustable in rear and FO in front, but otherwise ready to go out of the box
