  1. Got any pics of this set up? I'm seriously thinking about doing something similar. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Most prop guns I've shot its put the crosshairs on it and pull the trigger. It's sighted in for the distance and nothing needs to be done by the shooter other than shoot. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  3. My bolt handle is a piece of 300 win mag brass cut down to a length I liked and ground a little on the factory handle to fit in the brass and put some steel stick in it and rolled with it. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  4. How about 4 SEC teams in the top 6. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I run a wolff extra power spring, get you an extra shotgun spring and some pistol springs while you are there and it makes it easier to swallow shipping. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Got a chamfer tool? Use it, or a screw counter sink and just break the edge off. No need to go crazy with it. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Take a piece of sandpaper and radius that edge so the shell can't get stuck there any more. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  8. You can go to a hobby shop and get a piece of piano wire of a smaller diameter. Or look in the mag well and find the flex point and use a piece of sand paper to thin the original down some at the flex point. But thin it too much and its going to snap at the wrong time. 9. I keep a 300 yard zero reguardless of where shots are going to be taken. With a 300 zero its hold bottom to below target at 100, 200 its hold bottom 1/3, 300 hold dead away, 400 hold just off the top edge, at 25 hold dead away. And I use an adjustable diopter, close stuff open it up, far stuff tighten it down. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Jb weld and some shoe polish. Use the shoe polish as a release agent on one side, either the upper or lower..... Then put some Jb on the opposite and close em up.......instant bedding. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  11. What was the price ? Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Check your hose, make sure that there is a high loop in it..... Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Take the tip of your knife and drill a hole in the nail to drain the blood trapped under your nail. It will feel better after it stops hurting. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I say 40 yard slug shots on poppers, and if not defeated with slugs they can be engaged again with pistol but the pistol shots should be more difficult .... But don't write it into the description as to how the pistol shots have to be taken but design the stage so it makes them difficult. Maybe a port in the wall with a flap of carpet covering it from a crouching position. That way they have to open the port ....the carpet being able to flex is a little difficult to deal with. You can use one hand to hold the carpet which leaves just shooting strong hand only ....you can use both hands and flop the carpet on your head but risk it falling into view. Poppers at 25 yards strong hand may challenge them. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Who says it was in a dump barrel? Not all grounded weapons are in dump barrels. Look at pro am .... Stage 7 and 8 had grounded weapons that were not in barrels. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  16. I've made a stage DQ call before at the Benelli shotgun match. Also bumped a shooter to open at the same match. Backed by RM on both calls no questions asked. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Instead of a no shoot why not put a hard cover target? Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  18. A dumped gun not on safe. Rules clearly state that the safety must be on when dumping. Rules don't say must be in safe condition. Granted the shotgun is in a safe condition if it has not fired, bur rules state safety must be engaged. I'm sorry that the shooter has a malfunctioning gun and things broke, but the use of the word MUST kinda says it all. Its kinda like you came to a rolling stop....well either I stopped or I didn't which is it? If I stopped then I will fight the ticket, if I didn't stop I'll accept Tue ticket. The safety is either on or its not on. If its not on then shooter is done. Stuck inbetween is not on. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Yes 20, 30, 40, 48 and 60. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  20. I would be more inclined to say that an ace hardware stocked by Hillman would have it over a Home Depot. If nothing else and you know all the details I would look at McMaster Carr Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  21. The good thing about Rockset is that it won't break down like loctite does with heat. It is supplied by a certain suppressor manufacturer for use with installing their muzzle devices. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  22. I'm running a light striker spring, and a titanium striker. My match loads run cci small rifle primers no prob. I've run 2 k plus and have had 3 high primers not get set off. I shot Ga State 2 years ago with a gen 2 17 that had never been shot until I put test loads over the chrono Thursday night before I shot the match Friday. No problems and made 126 pf and shot factory springs. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  23. I like to use Steel Stik, it can be found at home depot and it doesn't run like JB weld does. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  24. Sell it cheap enough and I might be interested Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
