Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. So ugh... how bout them Cowboys eh? I just received my pair of 2.8s, seems like a great product and well built. I can't wait to try them out once finals are over next week.
  2. anyone know if the 88, (16 shell) can be separated to 2 8 round caddies? Seems the 2.8s are OOS. Thanks. edit, whoops, NVM got confused with the 2.8 and the 8p
  3. If it's anything like their micro, you will be good to go
  4. As a noob I went with taccom because it was much cheaper to buy 1 quaload and practice quadloading with one caddy than it would be to drop 100+ on an FSL8 only to find it wasn't for me. As funds allowed I bought another taccom and the backer. Now that Taccom has an 8round quaload for 70 its still very economical to buy and try to see if it works for you. I have no experience with the fsl8/12 so who knows if it's better but I can load 8 in 5 seconds now and that is good enough for me
  5. glad to see the arredondo got worked out. I haven't had any time to shoot recently and jest left the shotgun in the safe as it sat.
  6. Anyone know why or have speculations on why the loading port was scaled back to 3in?
  7. Just slap a benny hill, not the shooter, soundtrack in the background and post it up! lol
  8. capped, there is no need to fiddle with the turrets with this reticle after you get a solid zero.
  9. Don't get me wrong, I do like to see what people are using but in no way shape or form do I think running X brand will make me be on an equal playing field with those who are more seasoned and more importantly at an elevated skill set. That's just a complete fallacy. The fact of the matter is that it takes me more time to miss targets and re-engage than it does to swap a mag and that goes for ANY weapon used in the sport.
  10. As someone fairly new to 3 gun, I really don't care what my competition has. Is it fair a stock glock holds 15/17 and I am up against a race 2011 with 22-26 in the same class? Is it fair my inexpensive 1-4x is in the same class as a 2k 1-6x or higher? I really don't care and MOST new shooters don't. I realize that some of you guys are out to keep sponsors happy and get to go all over the country to shoot matches and have a LOT of time to practice. Most new shooters don't and we are there not to worry about who has what gear, we are there to have fun and get some sun. Unless 3gun starts going into more specific classes, I don't see the issue with magazine size.
  11. Hand cycling won't give you much of any indication of what will happen. Take it to the range, fire it and make sure it cycles with ALL types of ammo you use and go from there. Mine sits at about 13inches past the tube on an 8+ and cycles everything so I left it alone.
  12. I'd love to see the video of a 9 second pump run, that's incredibly fast! I'll put up a video this weekend but it will be pretty slow
  13. Be sure and loctite the included screw. Mine backed out on me and I almost lost it.
  14. I use machine gun lube on the bolt assembly, carrier and a smear on the inside of the rail on the reciever where the carrier slides. Lightly lube the piston rings and the follower. That's it. Don't need it to be AR BCG dripping wet. Frog lube works ok but the machine gun lube doesn't gum up or cook off as fast
  15. Load two opening tends to have more of the front of the port beveled and opened more aggressively
