  1. Every match I have RO'd low ready is low ready, hands are on gun. If your hands are on the gun that means there is no ammo I'm them. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Lemme know if RO's are needed for March. I normally come over and RO for DT1 Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  3. From what I can see of it, its just a piece of trash in the scope itself that came loose. USOptics has said to smack their scopes on phone books to knock a spec of trash off a lense. Little things happen that can't be controlled all the time. I do agree that if it has to be sent back that it should be covered by the manufacturer. In the mean time try smacking it on the phone book and call the retailer you purchased from, ask them if they have another one in stock and can send you a call tag for the one you have and send you a replacement ....if they send a call tag they will know when you send the scope back and at that time could ship the new one so you are only sans scope for a couple days. 4. Got a phone book? If so take your scope out of the mount and beat it on the phone book until spec is gone. And the idea of them sending a replacement or loaner is kinda absurd if you ask me. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2

  6. But don't the slim aluminum grips change the factory profile? Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Sounds exactly like the setup I'm heading for. How's it shoot? Any problems with short stroking, etc.? Have you noticed any acceleration in the cycle rate or smoother action? Thanks, Tar seems to work fine. One thing I have noticed is if you are trying to run the minimum amount of gas you better make sure things are cleaned and lubed. I'm gonna bump the gas just a hair for pro am just to make sure I don't have probs. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2 i am running about 1/2-3/4 turn more open on the gas system, from the point were i would get some kind failure, like the action locking open on the carrier and not the bolt. which will happen if not checking carely when you are setting it up. and i test with a few rounds of everything i have on hand. Yeah I've got to bump it up since it has been locking back on the carrier and not the bolt. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  8. This scope is Second Focal Plain. so the reticle changes in size as the scope zooms. Foc instance the 400 yard bar at 6X is 5.6 MOA down If we set the scope to 3X the 400 yard Bar would only be 2.8 MOA down I did not have much time at the range yesterday, I only did about 1/2 what I wanted to do. But I am 90% sold on this scope , my 10% reservation is that I like the old EBR reticle in the 1-4 FFP so much more. with the reticle getting smaller in the SFP 1-6 I fined the 500 and 600 bar not as fast to fined. The thing that balances that is that it will not cover as much of the target area as the old reticle. The load I used past 300 yards was 69gr Sierra with 24.5 Varget at 2,750FPS = I will bump up my load a bit, but having the bullets hit just under the bar at 500 yards was not distracting at all. It was cool to see the marks on the steel with -Lots- of feed-back through the scope. If a shooter spends the Dime to get a great upper like the JP this scope is a perfect match. Funny how my sight in groups shrunk after mounting this. I forgot, when I was doing my sight-in at 200 yards on paper, after the third shot I could see my group develop. the other thing that was kinda cool was doing a bore sighting at home when I mounted the scope and going strait to a 160 target for my first shot hitting the center of a steel gong. I never had bore sighting get so close. For some reason I was thinking it was a FFP scope. Finding the holds shouldn't be too hard. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2

  10. Looks like I'm gonna find a way some how wether its riding with a buddy or stealing my old man's ride like I did for Fort Benning 2 years ago. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  11. It is not DQable. I would have told the RO to call a CRO and ask him, and IF it wax a DQ why didnt he make the call at that moment?
  12. My lightweight rifle buffer is one weight all the rubbers and a 300 win mag piece of brass. I'm running a JP lightweight carrier, regular bolt, wolf extra power spring, rifle length gas on a 20 inch barrel with JP adjustable gas block, and SJC Titan comp. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  13. You said that you were going to have to do math if you were going to use 3 power for a longer shot earlier..... Isn't it a FFP scope meaning the subtentions would remain constant no matter what magnification was used.......ala no math required. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  14. What is the ~capacity of the smaller cement mixer...? I'm curious as well. I have various 5 gallon buckets of brass that are range pick up from an outdoor range that I'd like to clean and possibly resell. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. I would just check the number on ezffl or something like that. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Do you have a doctor's excuse? E-mail Linda and she answer your question. I got a blown motor in my car, how's that for an excuse? Was on my way home from Creekside when it decided to call it quits. Was working on a new load for the AR. I've got an email into Linda, I'm awaiting an "are you friggin kidding me." response. 19. I don't think that the screws are anywhere near the mag on a CZ. I'm pretty sure they are further back behind the mag. But that being said I could see the screws being too long and one pushing the other into the back side of the mag causing the binding. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
  20. The focal plane of the reticle has nothing to do with the zero. Unless you are doing ranging with a reticle (i.e. the distance between hash marks = x inches), there is no inherent advantage to a FFP reticle. Hows that ??? First Focal Plane you zero on any magnification. You go thru out the full spectrum of magnification on the scope your zero'd... On a Second Focal Plane you zero @ max magnification and do math to adjust for lower magnifications, correct ??? And yes I am ranging with the recticle... A zero'd scope is a zero'd scope no matter the magnification. Change the "zero" when talking in the second part to "ranging" and you are correct. A propper working scope zero'd on max mag or anywhere else wether a ffp or a sfp is zero'd and the zero is not going to change depending on magnification. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2
