  1. If you have already registered you should receive instructions via email on how to pay and where to send payment. If you haven't registered you can do so here. Bear in mind that the match is full and you will be out on the wait list. https://www.matchdirector.com/app/comp/match/view/a492b50a-3c34-46c1-959d-42be2238a92e I did register night of, received email from MatchDirector confirming registration, but did not receive an email with further payment information. I did check the junk/spam folder too and nothing has showed up. Same here got the original confirmation email, but not after that.
  2. Thx Mark. Weren't some of the pro series guys running some some lighter grain bullets with the boomfab carriers? 40 gr or something in the reduced power loads
  3. Roughly what are we considering reduced gas volume loads to be?
  4. Be able to have 2 pistol and 2 rifle on the belt. SG I'd say 24 on the belt is a good number but have a plan B for a big stage or unloaded start
  5. I had emailed them just to be curious. They told me the16" barrel weighed 1.5 lbs
  6. See if there is someone at a match that has one for you to try out. Nothing like spending $200+ on a trigger based on what people on the Internet say. Different strokes for different folks. I've bought plenty of stuff that if I had spend 5 minutes looking at or trying first hand would never have bought in the first place
  7. Can we get some pics from SHOT of the loading port on new M3K 3 gun
  8. I have flown several times to majors. As Hurley stated be ready to have someone working there that knows nothing about firearms rules. Be patient and pleasant with them, no need to paint a negative attitude towards people flying with guns. I have been charged the oversized fee once. It seems that it may vary on who is working the counter/what airport you are at. I've had to pull everything out for inspection before and sometimes they don't seem to care much at all.

  10. If it is for strictly competition shooting then the lomass is the way to go. Basically you aren't getting a clean blended finish on the the comp/barrel. Mostly there for looks but that is important to some. Then it's whether or not the cost of having a lomass BCG is worth the extra cash to you.
  11. I dry fired one on a demo gun of theirs. Not really sure what I think of it. Pull felt heavier than tuned JP AR trigger. Like any trigger it will probably vary from person to person
  12. Vertx. Get them in unfinished inseam and have them sewn where you want them. Unfinished I'd guess is 38" or so
  13. So why can Heavy Optics have a tube that can't hold more than 8 at any time, but Heavy Sport or whatever HM used to be can load more than 9 after the buzzer?

    Porting

Looking at doing barrel porting on a G17. I'm not looking to shoot major with it. It would be for 3gun with a slide mounted dot. Looked at magnaport and they look good. Wondering what else is out there for companies that do this and if anyone has experience with doing it.
  16. Much of it depends on the stage/match you are shooting. Blue Ridge type matches there is room to reload while moving, fast pace stages you might be caught doing some standing reloads.
  17. Everything else aside I'd like to hear a side by side comparison between the ported gun either 4 or 5 inch and a "non ported" M&P
  18. I would guess the number of people looking for soft primers is a very very small number of their sales market

  20. Is the arm that come down through the trigger guard touching the lower anywhere? Otherwise I would replace it with a standard mag catch and see if that solves the problem.

  22. Seen a few open guys running higher mag scopes due to the 45 degree dot for close stuff. You will lose field of view.
