All things considered, is Taran's gun worth the extra scratch? I know a bunch of guys swear by them, but they are 500-800 more than RAS, TSS, AI, etc.

My vinci will not run fiocchi low recoil slugs reliably. Federal low recoil have been 100% though.

Im entered in the Midwest Regional and I don't see anywhere on the site to squad.For the SE match they didn't open squadding until a few weeks before the match. An email was sent out when it opened so I would wait til the match gets closer.

This thread just got to a point that reminds me of why I don't go to some other forums anymore. T&N wants to start up a new match and was looking for input on that. If you feel offended because you don't fall into the group that would be included in the match, oh well there's plenty of other matches to shoot. Then you should be stomping your feet because you can't shoot the lady only 3 gun match, or go to the MGM junior camp. But really what different are they? A match targeting a specific group of society to introduce them to shooting 3 gun. I think what they are attempting to do is a great idea to introduce new shooters to the sport. Everyone has to start somewhere and this would be a good chance to get a start for a specific group of people.

Depends on where you are resting it. Flat bottom HG doesn't work as well if the spot you are resting it is at a 45 or something similar. They both have ups and downs.

If you hand handle, or even better shoot both before hand you will see if one feels, swings, etc better

If they are just golf carts not sure you could fit multiple peoples gear on them. Especially with the potential of having to drive it a few miles from the parking area. Having never been to the range I don't understand fully, but it's weird that I could bring my 1000cc side by side with gnarly A$$ mud tires out there, but can't bring my minivan... No worries either way but some specifics on the transportation situation would be appreciated. If I need to pack light I'll leave the wife home.
