Bolth those guns, when working properly, go on a limcat holster with STI mags. Grams on the big sticks and the limited mags. Arredondo on the short super mags Limcat pouches.
  2. This is hillarious. I'm still trying to think how this is possible. Were they torn? Either he forgot to put one leg in his breifs or an extra pair was lurking in his pants when he went to put them on?
  3. I think the moderators should move this topic to the humor forum. I dont like when my wife comes to the matches. Im preoccupied wondering if she is comfortable rather than concentrating on my shooting.
  4. haven' even had it a week and you broke it allready.
  5. I hate my RCBS its junk. Its is the same as the PACT bbk. Im gonna step up to a Dillon soon.
  6. no, fat guy you posted while I was editing. I may not be in the 300+ club but darn close. Maybe after the holidays. waistline far exceeds that of my inseam.
  7. This guy might be able to help you out. look And if that wont help I may have a stratigy to save the few remaining pairs you own. IF you anything like me you pants ride well below your waist. The only thing keeping them up is the tension on the waisband provided your overhanging belly. Crack exposure is an imminent threat. Hike them bad boys up! Get that inseam where it belongs. Your legs pivot at your hips. Having that inseam halfway to your knees does you no good. Match the pants geometry to that of your body's and all will be well.
  8. I would consider them one in the same.
  9. There is a certain level of risk analisys that you have to do. Decide to go for the a's or just hit the brown depends on the distance and if you are moving or static. Whats it worth to you? Two C's are better than a A M NS
  10. again.....I have my guns that I want. Im not going anwyere anytime soon and if I do it wil be to western washington.
  11. GardenWeasel, welcome to the forums. BTW great link
  12. forgot sope at home today and then forgot to bring home torx bit...no repair attempt was made yet.
  13. Woooah! hold your horses. you are right. I only said what I said to make a point. Wasn't there something prior to the drop testing that prevented you from buying frames? Tyro, STI still refuses to send any guns to CA. look Its besides the point. I have two STI guns.
  14. my bad....1911 on the brain. It slices, it dices, this sear does everything. It even makes french frys.
  15. Id stay away A MERC. Iv'e never heard of that other one but I'd stay away form that too.
  16. You have less than a year to complete your goal. Once the kid becomes more interactive you will spend lest time shooting and more time playing witht he kid. Better practice your pattycake
  17. It does something withthe slide too because you cant rack the slide with out engaging the grip safety
  18. I wish I knew about IPSC and STI frames before the stupid law went into effect that you can't build guns from frames in CA. I woulda stocked up.
  19. Im sure there is a rule that if you come to the line and LAMR and you allready are loaded there is a problem. I cant find my dang book so I cant quote it.
  20. look here FAQs if that doesnt awnser things do a search using "case lube"
  21. I got the cover off Ican see that two of the three joints are loose however I dont have a torx bit that small at the house so I will have to take it work. It looks doable... let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info paul.
  22. paul you were right. upon closer inspectionm the + terimal was loose. I guess the bottom cover just pops off
  23. I assume that you are usning a primer flip tray. If not, get one. It makes the chicken pecking easier. Also as jason said make sure that the tips are seated on the tube.
  24. Well, CSEmartin, looks like you have a project. do some experimenting and report back and tell us wich glow in the dark pens work best.
  25. took it apart just now. battery looks good. I do have the factory rubber pads behind the battery contacts. dot module contacts look good. I guess it gets removed and sent on its way. Unless you guys have anyother suggestions. Im a little hesitant on taking it apart any further.
