Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Guess I have it good, my local indoor range is $5.00 per year for registration and $5.00 per hour. For the outdoor stuff, my parents have 200 plus acres and I have installed a backstop for pistol at 75 feet and one for rifle at 400 yards.
  2. I would either go with a HK MP5 with the attached grenade launcher. (full auto of course) Or maybe a Barrett semi-auto .50 BMG
  3. Rhino: I don't know you, but I can share your pain, or according to the other posters (humor). I am a cookie away from 280 and I work on computers for a living. I was under a desk at a customer site when I herd the most terrifing sound ever. You guessed it, my pants were a fond memory. Oh did I forget to mention the church lady vice president was hovering over me. I thought I would never get called back for another call, but I still keep getting calls. At least you were among friends (we will call them friends for now) I must admit I had to wipe the tears of laughter from my eyes so I could type. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. If that would only work for our pants.
  4. I shoot West Coast bullets out of 7 different pistols and have not had any problems, but I work up a load for each gun bullet combo. Meaning I don't use a load that worked great for Rainier or Zero and just switch bullets. Even if the bullets are the same weight they require their own testing and load. I have used Titegroup, WST, Bluedot, Unique, 231, AA#5, AA#7, AA#2 and Clays but they have to be tested. If you buy 200 pounds or more you get a price break on shipping.
  5. Thanks to everyone for all of the great information. I will be relocating the Amerc to the trash can.
  6. I have just received 1000 once fired 40 S&W brass and it has a high percentage of (A MERC and CB&A Cases). Does anyone know anything about these brands? Can I reload, are they safe and any known problems. I have heard bad things about the A MERC brass, like head separation. This ammo will be loaded for IPSC major and weak cases are my first concern.
