Man, Mr. Leatham winning an ICORE match. Very cool TGO, this is more of a technical question, but I am really curious what kind of grip you use. And by that I mean both what kind of grips on the gun and HOW you grip the gun (compared to a 1911). What are the biggest differences to you between shooting a wheelgun and shooting a 1911/autoloader?

I have handled that one in the first picture above at the WS in 205. Truly amazing looking and fit and finish was also top notch. Too bad I had no chance to shoot it. Beautiful guns for those who care for beauty in their guns. Me, I would probably go for a plain vanilla Open Blaster with as little bells and whistles as possible Anything beautiful, I will turn into an ugly POS anyways

Is it just the hand and the cylinder? I think I hear a story some time ago about the bore being a little bit "higher" (more towards the top strap), because the 8 rounds were placed a little more towards the edge of the cylinder. Question rephrased: can I buy a regular 27 or 28 and convert it without rebarreling it? What would I need?

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I still wish S&W would make a bunch of dedicated 9x19mm revolvers in L-Frame and N-Frame for these purposes... Is the barrel diameter of the .38 super 8-shot .357? If so, when you're going to shoot super, you might want to try reloading it with 158 grain .357s I bet at 125 PF that is one SOFT shooter
