I just checked, it's a step file, not iges. It'll still import into CAD and CAM software. The file is for the entire bolt and carrier including all the parts. The step file is about 3.8 megs. I'm not sure of the accuracy of the model since I got it from someone else. So it's a good idea to verify it with an actual part before using it. Where would you like me to send them?

Want the iges file? I have soild models of most of the receiver parts.

P7 was in SSP before they changed it to ESP. I think that might have been Kirk Hioki that won SSP back in 2000 with a P7.

Instructions, what instructions? I wish there was full documentation that was readily available instead of having to look through the reference sections of the program which you can't do while flying. I don't think you can do that with FSX. I haven't seen anything that allows you to do that.

Looks like the Tac-5 has a shorten frame with a magwell and short guide rod. The short guide rod is probably majority of the weight savings.

Just buy rechargeable NiMH batteries. There are advantages of using AA. If you have a camera that takes a dedicated battery, if that goes dead, you are done. I've been thinking about buying the vertical grip attachment for my Nikon D200 just to have the possibility of using 6 AA batteries in case the dedicated batteries are dead.

Manual focus on a point & shoot is almost completely useless. It's really hard to determine if you are in focus or not since the optical viewfinder is useless. The LCD image is only marginal for focusing.

Even though I prefer Nikon's, I would have to say for DSLR get Nikon, for point & shoot get Canon. Check http://www.dpreview.com for detail reviews.

Get caught for speeding at 142 mph. Insurance goes through the roof and now he's selling the car. Obviously parents must be loaded to buy a 16 year old a $30K+ car plus all the mods. Insurance on a WRX STI isn't cheap either even for an adult.

I don't think any 11 year old boy would turn down a PS3 or a Wii. Though Wii is probably better in the long run since playing the games becomes more physical and I'm sure mom and dad will join in on the sports games.
