I am only 20years old and prepared to give you 15% percentage as commission for assisting me and 5% for expenses. Best Regards Ahani
  2. This is why National affiliation with USPSA or IDPA is so much better than matches run by guys who play by their own rules.

  4. You also left out, someone with 5 posts and 3 of them are on this thread.
  5. If you have their called ID, and your phone is on the do not call list, file a complaint. I'm not sure if they do anything, but I once filed a complaint for one everyday regardless of whether or not they called. Plus I filed a complaint for each call registered on the caller ID. They were going at it for 3 days before I started filing the complaints. It stopped shortly after.
  6. I tried to play the original Rainbow 6 when it first came out. It was just way too much planning for a first person shooter. I take it they have gone away from that?
  7. Gee, I bet the guy was thinking, let see if the boresight is really accurate. If I fired a round, it should hit the same point as the laser.
  8. That sucks. Are you sure you weren't 1hr early? Once rainy season starts, our local clubs have webpages that show match status usually updated by 6pm the night before. I think everyone appreciated having that posted.
  9. Don't you love those slow motion falls. One time I lost my balance when I ran up to a door and yanked it opened. I already had a two handed grip on the gun as I was falling onto my butt. The entire time the sights were dead smack in the middle of the A zone and I was debating whether or not to pull the trigger. Figured it probably wouldn't have been a good idea. Welcome home.
  10. I shoot mixed brass, but for a big match I will sort through the brass and use only one type. Nickel plated will chrono differently than regular brass. I had that scare once. 1st 3 rounds fired were regular brass, 164.7 pf. Next 3 were nickel plated at 170 pf. That chrono stage was one of the toughest stages I've ever been in.
  11. We always score a miss on the head as just a miss. No FTN unless there's no -1 or 0 hit somewhere on the body. There is a provision in the rules that state if you have a target that require 2 in the body and 1 in the head, a competitor can choose to put all 3 rounds into the head since it's a "tougher" shot and no penalty will be assessed to the body.
  12. Tonight's episode of Jericho has a S_I Open gun with a C-more.

That guy sucks at sledding. Keeps falling off.
  14. One of the first, I believe, widely distributed information on the internet was the MIT lockpicking paper and that was back in the mid 90's. Almost everyone read through that. So the information is out there. No matter what you do, there will always be a way to get in. Just watch the Discovery Channel show. Last week they showed them yanking a skylight off with almost no effort.

I've e-mailed Cathy a few times in the past and met her at the Shot Show. I cracked a muzzle cup and Cathy sent me a new one for free. Met Franco at USPSA Race Gun Nationals in 2002. I was kind of bummed he didn't send me the new revised World Shoot hanger since I was the one that got him to make a new revision which was to change the 6mm bolt for adjusting cant angle from the outside to the inside so you can adjust the cant without pulling the holster apart. They are nice people to deal with.

  17. That's not fair. All the pictures I take at a match are a bunch of old guys. I can see myself filling up an entire compact flash card with Julie.
  18. Counting rounds, what's that? When you get to that one piece of steel that just won't go down, counting rounds is the last thing you are thinknig of. For Production or L-10, plan on reloading every time you move. Once you are done shooting an array, RELOAD. If you miss too many shots and have to do a static reload, you still need to do a reload the moment you move. Most people forget to do a reload if they had to do a static reload on an array. Now you might be a few rounds short for the next array. If you don't fall back on your original plan of reloading every time you move, you end up doing a lot of static reloads costing you a lot of time. This is why people carry 6-8 mags.
  19. Hey I did exactly the same thing last Saturday. Month started on a Sunday. So Saturdays are a week behind. Well at least I had a nice drive. Early mornings are about the only time the roads are free of cars so I can stupidly exceed the speed limit by a lot. Can't wait till the daylight savings time changes.
  20. I wear Bolle since they were the first on the market with using perscription adaptors behind the main lens. I usually pick up the frames pretty cheap so I haven't switched. If I did, I would go with Rudy Projects. The M Frame prescription basically has the lens cut out and an prescription insert fitted into the lens. I'm not sure if they have changed the lens shape but in the past, they look like the lens portion from the Sub Zero except added onto the m frame lens and they looked pretty ugly. Here's a pict of a sub zero if you don't remember what they look like. But basically you have one lens color with the prescription. If you want a different color, you have to buy another perscription. Apparantly in the past if you are pretty blind, the lens has a difficult time supporting the thick prescription. I knew one guy who went through 4 broken lens in one year. While optically, the prescription M frames would be better since you are only looking through the prescription part, but they are not practical. An prescription insert isn't as good since you are looking through two lens but at least you can change out the lens color whenever you want. Scratches usually occur on the replaceable lens instead of the prescription. And you can have your perscription filled by your optomotrist. Prescription oakleys have to be purchased through an optomotrist who is a oakley dealer.

Back when I was in elementary school, the school got made at our 5th grade teacher for teaching karate after school. Though in high school in a police science class, the local PD Sgt was teaching us how to disarm someone in case you know the guy will shoot you. He knew he wasn't suppose to teach that but did anyways.
  22. Should have said "Shhhh! Keep your voice down, it's sound activated."
  23. A lot of people shot Limited with 10 round mags back when Open and Limited were the only two divisions. The only disadvantages I see is if you miss a few shots and wind up with a static reload and also every time you move, you are doing a reload. As long as there's some movement, you really don't lose much time, if any, doing the extra reloads.
