When you just can't wait for Springfield and when you have a 6" barrel just laying around, that's perfection calling. I took the shop gun done in red and did a little machining here and there and a lot of patience. I got the barrel to fit into that skinny slide. A crown and some polishing and it was time to test fire. So far the test rounds are feeling good, I need to work up a major load in a short length and do some accuracy testing. When I find some more time I'll get one of my mag wells fitted and one of the super heavy weight tungsten rods made(5+ ounces).
