  1. That's the exact same problem I've been having with my SLP. I'll see if I can find some Glock springs to try. I already have the Benelli cut in my welded lifter.
  2. I got an FN not long ago, it had been running great. I got the lifter back from C-Rums not long before the match and only ran a couple boxes of shells through it to test it, apparently that wasn't enough to test well. I was getting about 1 failure to feed per stage. I still have to play with it and find out what's going on, my guess is the crimp on the shells, but having fresh mods makes you question your gear. My squad had about 15 shooters and I didn't see many other malfunctions. My observation- don't mod guns right before big matches. I shot an Improved on 1 stage, and ended up just running Mod on everything else because of the no-shoots. And yeah, you have to aim.
  3. Thanks to EVERYONE who made this a success, it was quite a match! Awesome facility, staff, competitors, food, and sponsors. A lot of people obviously put in a lot of work to make this happen, I'm already counting the days 'til next year.
  4. Not much is interchangable between dpms and armalite, uppers and mags are not.
  5. You'll need one with adjustable gas, may as well get a JP.
  6. Let me know what your thoughts are after you've run it a while.
  7. Did something similar just the other day. I got in a hurry changing the oil in my diesel truck, and remembered I'd forgotten to put the drain plug back in as I was finishing dumping the second gallon of fresh oil in. That was a lot of money running off the driveway.
  8. XD and XDM 9mm's use different magazines.
  9. Thanks. The limit is 1" wide and 3" long, so it's probably not legal although the shoulder isn't an effective surface. It wouldn't be a problem with most of the matches I shoot. Yes, I have an AAC M4-2K, that's why I ask. I've just used a flash hider mount for it so far.
  10. Beanie baby filling at your local craft store.
  11. Where did you decide on? I can recommend a great realtor if you're looking in Florence, I know several people who have used her and every one has been very happy with her service.
  12. I bet they'd sell a ton of them. Just sayin'.
  13. There are some good places to shoot here too, look us up when you get here.
  14. I wish they'd make this in subsonic, the only subsonic plated ammo I can find is the segmented ammo, which won't function in my 10/22.
  15. Is the AAC brake 3 gun legal? I have the flash hider mount on another rifle, I was thinking about trying a brake mount on my 3 gun rifle but didn't know how big it was.

  17. I imagine the brakes popular on .308 gas guns will work just as well on a bolt gun. If you go to Snipershide and look around you'll find most people are running APA or Badger Ordnance FTE brakes, but the FTE brake will require extra machining. Mine has a SAS brake/suppressor mount, it seems to do just fine.
  18. No, a 9mm won't go into a .357 chamber.
  19. Good deal, I had a feeling that might be the problem.
  20. I've been shooting the same gun since I started USPSA a couple of years ago. The only mods I've made are a Dawson FO front sight and skateboard tape on the front strap. Works great.
  21. Nickel is better for defensive ammo that is carried a lot because it resists corrosion, but it's a little more brittle so it will split with fewer loadings than brass and the nickel plating may start to flake off.
  22. Blcksmk, I've shot 3 gun at Pappy's several times. BHE met me out there the last time I was there a couple of months ago. There had been some severe weather, and I was the only shooter that showed up. It's a long ride for me though.
