  1. For the love of god! This part of the forum is for ANYTHING.
  2. I have never worked Nationals, sorry.
  3. Lexus=Toyota. If you can’t talk her into a real SUV like the 4Runner then go with the Lexus.
  4. Pretty sure level I exemptions don’t include not scoring targets correctly . But then again this was just a non sanctioned event so I guess it doesn’t matter. But around here we tend to stick to the rules even if we just practice
  5. Any powder. I use WAC and it varies widely from jug to jug.
  6. Granted I only tried Xtreme plated HP’s in my Open guns but they were nowhere near as accurate as a good Jacketed MG or PD JHP.
  7. It’s pretty close to being that important in my opinion. LOL
  8. Yep. I run Federal SRP mostly in my Open guns. I think they are fairly soft as far as rifle primers go. I can also run CCI SPP with little if any difference in performance. Just run Rifle primers in your CK
  9. And this has moved the game away from fun, interesting challenges. A sectional this summer had a cooper tunnel and there was so much hemming and hawing and hand wringing trying to figure out how to make it tough to avoid. It seems the best way to alienate shooters anymore is to just put one low port in a COF.
  10. But if a bad shoulder gets consideration where would it stop? Bad back? Bad knees?
  11. It is, but there is a shooter in our area missing most of his hand from birth who gets no special consideration that I’m aware of
  12. Xtreme HP's are all thick plated and rated for open velocities supposedly. They also sell a round nose thick plated bullet for open velocities as well. Probably tumble because they are cheap bullets. They certainly are not the best choice for any competition loads, especially open division.
  13. While I see what you’re getting at I don’t think a bad shoulder would qualify as a significant disability.
  14. Not to mention Chevy loves to put gas fill on the WRONG side of their vehicles. Drives me nuts when they pull in and block the pumps. LOL
  15. If you need spill stops on a 550 you are doing it wrong.
  16. Not for 9MAJOR. Don't try it.
  17. Wow, you guys all millenials at heart or something? A laser uses electronic circuitry AND lenses technically. So it clearly falls under optical / electronc sights. I would agree since all the laser does is project a beam that it could be deactivated and be considered legal. But if at any time I saw a dot on a target it would be immediate bump. BUT I think that should be true for any level of match. I find it fascinating how quickly we as a sport default to, "in a local match this or that should be OK".
  18. Read the rules again. I think you misinterpreted the CO vs Production rules. I think the “submit 500 samples” is simply lowering the requirement from 2000 to only 500 to meet approved list requirements. It needs reworded probably but there is no way a SAO / 2011 will be permitted in CO.
