  1. It really is the pin. It's a very well documented problem with very well documented fixes.
  2. So the three day class really is moot. Accidents happen and dummies will draw and shoot themselves in the foot trying to hurry. Unless Canada IPSC makes it illegal to push the envelope a 3 day class is pointless.
  3. No thanks. Was the guy who died last year in Canada? I don't remember.
  4. Yeah, just put a little angle on the tip of the pin. I recently bent my Dillon pin during case prep for wet tumble. I had a bevel on it. Had not had a depriming issue in many thousands of rounds. Put the new pin in and figured I didn't need to bevel it since I only use it for depriming and its easy enough just to pull it out and drop in the case feed tube for a redo. Probably happens every 25-30 rounds now.
  5. Good price. If only Win’s were all round.....
  6. But Grafs $10 hazmat and $7.95 shipping is a considerable savings
  7. Super and Super Comp only difference is SC is rimless Super is semi rimmed. SC affords more room in mags and reportedly extracts more reliably.
  8. Good enough for me! I’ll get one on my Christmas wish list.
  9. Yep those are on amazon for cheap. Thought it might be too light and pop out with a heavy load dumped in. Does it stay in place when you dump?
  10. where are you located? If there is a forum member anywhere near you I am certain they would be glad to help.
  11. Coda Evolution. I won one at a match last year and stuck it on my PCC. Very light weight and tough.
  12. Oh man! He was very active here as well. Just interacted with him recently I believe. RIP MikieM.
  13. You have no idea how some shooters pay attention to the RO's timer cadence. It's a real thing. One of the things I learned early in my RO career, right here on these forums, is to stagger your count so shooters don't know in advance when I will hit the button. I still stay more in the area of 2-3 seconds. I never short beep and rarely wait 4 seconds. 4 seconds is a long time. LOL
  14. DO NOT, use random start timer. The RO needs total control over when the beep goes. The best example is, the RO gives standby and sees somebody walk up on a berm. Before he can call stop the beeper goes off and the shooter starts shooting. Simple example but I think it gets the point across.
  15. We used some tape for an end of season monster match this year. Since there were other questionable things about the match since it was just for fun we thought it was ok. But technically not even close to being legal fault lines.
  16. This is the kind of crap that happens when DNROI rules that standing outside shooting area means one foot can be in and one can be out and visa versa. Opened a big can of worms and now it’s more of a wording game to get shooters where you want them.
  17. Mirror on ceiling above casefeeder and bullet feeder
  18. Just like nearly every “new” subject brought up this has been discussed before. I think the majority stand while reloading if I recall. Pretty easy to do a search for all the pros and cons. Much easier for me to stand so I can keep bullet feeder full, primers full, case feeder full etc.
  19. Back in the day military bases had woodshops for DIY. Also car repair DIY. Things might be totally different these days though. Worth a look
  20. Most everybody I know centers front mag on belly button and tilts it over further. This does two things. Allows lower reach to pull mag and makes it easy to get the belt and gear in the same position every time. My Third pouch is on hip straight up and second pouch splits difference on location and tilt. My holster is raked back a little more and just a touch more forward.
