  1. The bird shot is easy its just a 2 3/4 dram 1 1/8 oz load
  2. If anyone here did this Saturday evening in the parking lot after awards or know who did can you please man up and send a private message my way
  3. The leupold is basically a 1x scope with all the adjustment of a scope for focus and the eye relief etc. The aimpoint is a red dot which dosent have these things
  4. I will agree with ref as the activator did not work correctly and activated without the popper going down.
  5. If you want a 5 inch gun your better off selling it and buying a 5 inch gun as its gonna cost a Pretty penny to have a new top end on and it still won't look right and you would be cheaper to just buy something like a spartan
  6. I learned that the hard way on the 20 rounder the last year they had the ky state shoot and tried to shoot the angle with coupled 30s and couldn't get the tube on the top of the wall without the mags touching. I throw a couple 20s in the bag now and for mandatory reloads off the belt as I can index a 20 better than a 30
  7. I think when it gets hard to score them is in something like can you count where you have 5 shots at close range. That said a true double is extremely rare and is gonna end in a mike. I have had some that were very close but 2 grease rings were there
  8. Racemaster. Lock the holster and its not coming out
  9. 124 Montana gold Cmj. 7.0 grains autocomp. 1.16 oal comes in about 172 of in mine
  10. The 20 works great on the roof type stages on the slanted platform. I have used a beta mag when it involves shooting off a bench as its nice and wide and stable
  11. I lock my upper body and move the gun with the lower body. It just gives you better control of the gun on transitions. Come from a skeet background here
  12. Another DAA vote Its very secure when locked and its easy to unlock on the draw
  13. The trubor is a nice gun but I had some work done to mine. Check out the match master in the classifieds as its being sold for a good price
  14. If you want a total build volquartsen has an aluminum 22/45 that should be out soon
  15. The 9mm and 38super really are not that difficult to make major with and isn't near as scary as people try and make it out to be. Your also giving up a lot on capacity with the 40 and like was said resale value is way less than with a 9/38
  16. Primary arms micro is a nice one for the money for a 22
  17. 10mm mags and load them long like you do for an STI
  18. I don't think the tactical vest really has a place in uspsa. Usualy even at 3 gun the only ones usually wearing the tactical stuff are the new people to the sport.
  19. Ruger mark ii stainless 6 inch tacsol barrel and volquartsen sear and steel trigger
  20. Ya I don't see how not tearing down is a dq able offense as its not. If you want people to help tear down make it feasible to do so. For props hava a trailer available to load stuff on especially the heavier poppers Etc. for walls make them where they are easy to disassemble to put away. By that I mean use zip ties to hold the walls together as most men will have a knife on them to cut the zip ties and put the walls away. If you have them screwed together where you need tools to remove them and take them down the people are gonna pull the targets and leave the walls standing.
  21. Depends on how you have it sprung. Usually for minor you wanna run 11 pound
  22. I Felt one and the stock was pretty short so not a fan
