    LOK grips for a TS

As the name implies, they are a bit wider in the middle, or where you palm would be while gripping the pistol.
  2. 1.05 OAL may be a tad short. I load my 9mm CZs at 1.080-1.090.
  3. The Mec-Gar 18 round mags I have are marked "..for Canik - TP Series" , so without having a tp9sa to try, I'd go out on a limb and say 'yes'
  4. Ah, gotcha. I don't have a box hand, however measuring roughly from the bottom of the mag to the highest point on the rear sight it get: 18-round mag: 146 (and change) mm 20-round mag: 157 (and change) mm
  5. Not sure if your question about 'fit' is about the mags & holster or just the mags. Both the 20 or 18 round Canik mags work fine with the SFx, however in USPSA production, however you're limited to 10-rounds in your mag at the buzzer.

    LOK grips for a TS

    Or a shorter finger
  7. I have both the CZC and Springer base pads. Strictly from a design/usability perspective, I find the CZC ones to be an advantage. This isn't to say the Springer ones are bad, with all things being equal (relatively) I prefer the base pad that doesn't require a tool to disassemble.
  8. OP: if your magwell is from CZ Customs, you don't install the cross pin, which CZC refers to as the 'main spring plug pin' From their website: We suggest removing the main spring plug pin so that the main spring plug keeps pressure on the mag well at all times.

    shadow 2 magwell

Just curious, why are you adding a magwell and base pads to a production gun?
  10. I wet tumble and I'm 100% sure it is brass from the case, as I load with hi-tek coated bullets.
  11. I load mostly coated bullets, so the shavings are definitely from the cases. Because I'm on a progressive, I can't really tell which station is causing this. I'll try reducing the bell a tad to see if this helps.
  12. If anyone's interested, this pistol fit in my Grand Power X-Cal holster (RHT) like it was made for it. Does not fit in CZ 75 or glock production holsters
  13. I use Lee dies to load both 9mm and .40. The dies are setup approximately the same, with respect to sizing and belling/flaring. It dawned on me recently while cleaning up after a caliber change that the 9mm setup creates a lot (by a wide margin) more brass shavings/particles than the .40 does. Anyone else notice this also?
  14. If you can't determine which is causing the issue, the new safety or how the main spring is installed, I'd suggest staring by putting the known good safety back in. Verify functionality of the safety. You don't need to drop the main spring to change out safeties, so once you check that it is installed correctly, just remove the old safety and install the new one. If the safety needs to be fitted, go slow. It normally doesn't require removal of much material. You can ruin a perfectly good safety quickly by filing off too much material.
  15. Let's try to clarify what is going on. 1. New safety is installed and functions correctly 2. Main spring (located in the grip, orientated vertically, e.g. up/down) installed during safety functional check 3. Slide magwell over grip (no change to main spring) and safety no longer works. The mainspring isn't affected/impacted when the magwell is attached. At least on my pistols. No good reason for the gun to function properly with the main spring installed and no magwell and not to work when sliding the magwell on over the grip. Pictures of the pistol with/without the magwell installed would be the next step
  16. I shot a Cajunized SP01 in production before getting a TSO and shooting in limited. If you already have a SP01 converting to SAO would be much cheaper than getting a new gun. However if you are purchasing a new gun for limited, get the TS. It is a shooter out of the box, doesn't need anything to jump into limited..well maybe a set of grips. Consider trying a TS or TSO in .40. It is day/night difference from a plastic .40.
  17. I have two Tactical Sports and don't recall being able to hear or feel the reset like I can on my Glocks. Like someone mentioned previously, get a TS or TS Orange and you won't be disappointed. P.S. the Shadow 2 is a nice gun, however the trigger is nowhere near that of a TS. The S2 has a double action trigger (first shot) that was designed primarily for shooting in Production.
  18. The bracelets provide equilibrium of mass. Shifting even 1 of them to my strong hand would clearly impact point of aim.
  19. Here's another tip I learned the hard way, remove the shell locator pins before you decide to clean up spilled powder from your shell plate with a vacuum cleaner. Went to run my press the following day after giving everything a good cleaning and could not figure out for the life of me where I put one of the locator pins.
  20. Not sure where you are located, however if you're from the US, how did you get beyond this charming message: Bohužel pro zvolenou zemi a zboží neexistuje způsob doručení. on the .cz website? Which basically means 'sorry bro, can't ship that item to your country'
  21. Don't see why it wouldn't fit. The 'D' shaped shaft from the left side safety is all the interacts/connects with the right side.
  22. Let's start off by acknowledging that I'm a C shooter, with room for improvement in many areas. Recently I noticed that the majority of my mikes/deltas were on the last shot before moving (either upper body rotation or full reset) to my next shooting position. I suspect that I'm moving a bit too early, however I don't want to stay in position long enough to actually see the bullet hit the mark/or not. Realizing that being able to call your shot when the trigger is pressed would be the ideal solution, I'm not at that point yet. Anyone have suggestions/drills for reducing this tendency to pull your shot prior to moving to the next shooting position?
  23. I have had no issues with feeding from either of the mags. Now I do tend to load .40 in the .40 mags and 9mm in the 9mm mags, so this wasn't really a surprise While a person could likely run 9mm bullets in the .40 mag, I doubt anyone here would do so for anything but practice. That would seem to be a point of significantly diminishing returns when you consider the price of a few additional mags in relationship to the cost of the pistol. I have read that in order to run the extended mag basepads in the 9mm mags you need to modify the followers as they don't like going beyond the 'dimples'. Getting some 9mm basepads is on my 'to do' list, so I'll know first hand shortly.
