  1. Berry's 147gr loaded to 1.12 Bullseye powder 131-133PF consistently.
  2. I have the front of the tube removed and follower and springs out. I am usually not worried about the spring tension in practice when I am working on dry fire practice loading.
  3. I use that barrel but with the thermal dissipator. I am able to hit long range targets positioned toward the end of stages with no issues. Haven't tested accuracy after a mag dump.
  4. Any buckshots this year? I thought I saw the approximate round count, but I only see the 2013 stage one.
  5. VM is heavier. I have both and I prefer the 1301. Loading port can be widely opened up on VM, but I haven't needed it with quad loading.
  6. I wanted to see how much I can push my gun and mags and ran a local match yesterday without having it cleaned from Area 3 match. Mags need to be cleaned out as I had 2 mags ceize up from dirt/sand. My gun would not shut its slide from combat reloads when I ran it empty, but no cycling issues. So I think it is important to clean the magazines after every match.
  7. This is what I ended up doing when I had to switch out all my 19rd mecgar mags. Ordered 12 plates from the CZ shop at $5 a piece and then had to order SP base pads to make them production legal. No other sources.
  8. I can quad load 12 shells in less than 5 seconds under optimal conditions with the loading port opened up only slightly. Too bad I suck at shooting the shotgun, but I am working on that.... Perhaps it helps to have it opened wider when moving and loading, but I switch back to weak hand loading if I need to move a lot.
  9. I wish they had stock target sight versions, but other than that, no issues so far. However, I do not like the sight as they have very sharp edges unlike my shadow target, which has rounded edges. I get cut often on empty gun start stages.

147GR BARRY'S 3.3 TITEGROUP/3.4 BULLSEYE OAL = 1.120 131-132 PF Groups well at 25yds and no issues hitting A zone at 50yds. This is with my accushadow and shadow target.
  11. I have found myself recovering faster from "OSHIT" moments when I have the bullets facing forward as I am sweeping down to look for wherever I left off because it was not a part of my stage plan.
  12. I have small hands and it is all about getting to the grab part once it leaves the carrier and after that, it is all dexterity to separate the dual shells apart.
  13. I have a 1301 and A400 Xtreme. I am planning on swapping the stock between the two and from what I could find, A400 receivers used here will only fit their specific stock. My shotgun is still getting worked on, so I guess I won't really have time to test this until next year, but that is what I know. Price has come down as they were $650 at one time. I would have not needed it, but with buckshots and slugs being more integrated, I need some recoil reduction now.
  14. How hard can you grip the gun without shaking? I have a friend who is in your situation and she grips it hard as she can, but over time her muscles get tired and starts shaking again. This is very noticeable while practicing, but not as much on short stages. I know it isn't just as simple as exercising the lean muscles for some people, but if you believe this can be overcome by strength workouts, I would begin there.
  15. I have an accushadow that came from the factory with the rear sight slightly off center. I am wondering if I can just drift this over or if there is a set screw under the height adjustment screw. Had to aim directly to the left of A zone steel at 40-50 yds to get hits.
  16. I have 3.3 of TG 1.115-1.120 making power factor out of CZ SP-01 models. However, with G34, I have tested 3.3 of TG 1.135 as well and meeting ~129,000.
  17. I think this may work for people with big hands better. I personally cannot keep the right balance in my grip if I reach that far out, but my support hand is almost to the edge of the trigger guard. I have changed my grips a few times and saw improvements with sufficient practice. I say keep an open mind and do what works for you.
  18. How full is this registration process at this time? I sent in the check on Tuesday and wondering if I should arrange lodging.
  19. Firearm: CZ Shadow Target Powder: Titegroup Bullet: Berry's 147gr plated Load: 3.3 gr 1.120 OAL Because of the powder shortage, I have to rely on whatever I have left. I have the above data to meet PF from some of the test loads and accuracy. Can someone that shoot this gun, plated bullet and powder share their loads so I can have several to test on the next range trip? Thank you.
  20. I emulate the Vogel grip but my Shadow or Glock does not cant like him. I thought it was his hand size that caused that. I have smaller hands so that is not my natural position.
  21. I do have a couple of tactical surefire lights, but I would not hesitate to go with TLR-1 as mentioned by others as I do run that and X300 on handguns. No issues after thousands of rounds out of a 45 handgun.
  22. I agree with everything said here so far except 930 JM being great. I do know of people running it well, but they have had issues from time to time. Also, I know of 4 of them that got sent back from a shop that sold 4 of them. It could be the owners, but failure rate seems too high.
