that and a temp difference depending on the powder they use maybe would a fouled barrel shoot faster or slower ? if so was the rifle clean at the start of both sessions? could Black Hills gotten in a soft batch of powder ?

pretty sure diameter is same for all funnels a loaded .223 will not fit into the center hole but empty resized will on mine it has an A stamped in the groove 1.968" tall no the rifle funnels arent all the same just checked..my .30 cal funnel is about half as tall. John

move the 1911 to your 3 gun buy the carry gun then the AR and shotgun saving the 2011 for the upgrade. realisticly how many reloads will you be saving by going to a 2011 vs a 1911 and do many stages really weigh heavy enough to make a reload on the move that big a deal at your current shooting level ? (dont forget the allied costs of mags/mag pouches etc.) then after you get the 2011 you have a loaner pistol to get a new guy into the sport ! and you can move on to your backup AR and shotgun you know to get new shooters to their first match I use this "creeping carpet" logic with the wife. and yeah it works, after the "real bills" are paid John

Have yet to see crimps be symmetrical usually offset like the pics just ream/swage before reloading.. If not, then save em up box em up and ship em to me I'll see if they can be saved also havent ever seen a partial primer cup come out, have seen primers separate at the anvil when decapped but never a broken cup

never hand primed ever,.. just developed the feel in the press when they seat prepped cases first though swaged,cleaned trimmed to OAL etc.(rifle) then load em up

Both my stone age raceguns (single stack .38 super and a 10mm series 80s) have had the levers removed less to go wrong and no need on a competition gun unless rules specify their needed..they are open guns so no such need not that you would feel it in the limited takeup they have.. Had a Officers Model I carried for awhile fail to fire due to the levers wearing and failing to lift the block this is a possibility and yes you can get the initial sponge feeling as it levers the plunger as long as they are in spec and properly hardened you will be fine both raceguns wear the adapter plate that is one piece kind of triangular shape works fine.. officers model got traded after replacing the levers for what was later discovered to be an all correct 1903-A4 minus proper scope. the series 80 system works and is in most all of your modern designs (some sort of lever and plunger arrangement) so mine was I am sure an isolated experience, just wish I had some sort of warning first it could have gotten really bad if I really needed it. I just load until the press is empty especially handgun ammo whats a few more to the party ?
