  1. going to spend the next few days in Manhattan with family...not even sure if I can carry a pocket knife. I hope my surefire light isn't on the verboten list... Yeah, I'll be the unarmed guy with the expensive camera
  2. I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. We should all hope to go so peacefully. Prayers inbound.
  3. I don't know what all the fuss is. If you leave them critters alone for a few days they are real easy to find.
  4. I've been next to two trucks that blew their re-treads...first time the wheel was off my front passenger corner as I was passing him - scary. Thankfully I was in a rental
  5. And it is MUCH cooler than smoking! Congrats on quitting and good luck. What grips did you order?
  6. I have a few surefires and know the quality but they are still spendy. When you can buy anyother brand headlamp for 1/2 or 1/4 price...are these as good as the rest of the line? And is there a ball cap conversion? http://www.surefire.com/SaintMinimusHS2-A-BK
  7. Sorry for your loss...that is one of the toughest drives. I think Smokshwn has got it right.
  8. Awesome! CPU Nice job Flork!
  9. Mac Book Pro's "main case" is machined out of a single piece of AL. You can pick it up without feeling the whole thing flex as did my old PC laptops. Only problem is I couldn't feel right tossing it around even if it is milled out. Oh and you'll have to stop in every starbuck's you pass - just to log in and show your solidarity OS is not as intuitive when conducting file management or maybe my mind is too old, but I like WIN explorer for many tasks better than the mac "finder" Good luck...
  10. I thought he'd go SS! You're doin right PB.
  11. Dang it...now you're going to have to scratch out Pharaoh Bender off the Single stack plaque
  12. And we forget that we are YELLING our whispered stories to the guy next to us...wearing hearing protection I try to turn mine off while shooting - but frequently forget. My dumb stories can usually wait 20 seconds too - but I frequently forget.
  13. dont knock it till you try it..... Thats how I got hooked. That is the main reason I haven't tried it - seriously. I've come close a couple of times - I'm sure it would feed my need for speed. Never say never.
  14. Dooood. Sounds like a good plan really... You'll be missed!
  15. Very cool. I was a high school band guy, marching, concert, jazz...but never had the dedication to go DCI...nice

that's outstanding! you should sell coasters with that pic and slogan. Thank Thee! I try to use my powers for good not evil - but then some days... ...apologies to the photogs that I butchered therein
  17. I haven't had a P2000 done by them, but they are really nice folks. I had one of his triggers in a HK91 - blew people's minds as 91's aren't known for light crisp triggers. Give them a ring and ask him what his work does for the gun. GGI also does plenty good work too.
  18. OK now you have to spill the beans on what 1911 you are talking about...and pics when she lands.
  19. mmm...yummy Look at all those mags you rock...bullets are in backward though
  20. Last year there was 2-3 miles of state route and more country road driving...not sure it would've worked.
  21. Now leasing space on my Cray-super computer for the "sign-up" challenge. Thanks BigHamp...and the AMU et al!!!!
  22. I followed the band link to the group who helped put it together...it took months. I think they said 22 engineers, bunch of voluteers...worth digging around and watching the behind the scenes video...wish there was more details though. I'm starting to dig the band now...dang subliminal messages...wonder if my auto insurance needs attention Very good end of the week video!
