  1. When using factory I’ve found Federal 147 to be very accurate and recoil is not bad at all. Having said that I reload most everything I shoot. It’s become a hobby of its own.
  2. About 2-3 years ago a major distributor told me that the president or person-in-charge said basically what igolfat8 reported. They didn’t care if there were any primers for reloaders or not. Their business, run it like you want. I now have enough WW primers to run me for quite awhile. I prefer Federal for my wheelguns but it only takes a minor change for WW.
  3. Federal low recoil 00B or slugs with Truflite wad. Extremely accurate. Shotgun would be what you are most comfortable with. I like an 870/1100/1187/Benelli M1 Super 90.
  4. I've noticed that the Glock mags have a lot of "wiggle" to them, not a real, solid lockup. No misfeeds so far but it's something I'm watching.
  5. Around 30 or so years ago someone said that if it required using a timer then it was a game. Get some trigger time, have fun, doesn’t matter which “game” or “sport”. I learned that the time I spend with friends at the match is what’s important to me.
  6. I’ve been using VV N310 with Bayou and SNS 230 RN bullets. Soft recoil and it burns really clean. Using a 625 JM
  7. The Reloading Inovations light looks great. They have some other accessories for a 550/650 that look good.
  8. I will add that previously I had used One Shot lube, then tried Dillon lube. The Dillon product to me was far better than the One Shot.
  9. It is a night and day difference. Enough that each of my Dillons has one. Arthritis prompted me to get one.
  10. Dillon lube and their carbide die is a winning combination.
  11. I've got Toolguys fiber optic orange front/green rear combo on my 625. Excellent sight and well built. The orange picks up quick.
  12. You are a very talented person! To bad you're not selling them, as there is always a market for quality and innovative products.
  13. I like N320. Burns clean but can be hard to find at times.
  14. I put my pistol brass in an aluminum pan like a caterer uses and you get at Wally World . Spray once, shake, let sit for ten minutes and into the case feeder. With 5.56 I spray twice. Still using Dillon lube. Trays are cheap and disposable. A bulk pack used to last a long time until my wife found out I had them. I get raided on the holidays. But she does feed me pretty good. LOL!
  15. Sounds like Bayou is still good to go. Thanks to everyone for the updates. ?
  16. Sometime back I had read that there were a few QC problems with the Bayou bullets after the company was sold. I have shot Bayou bullets for about as long as they have been in business. This is not to hammer them I just wanted to see if anyone knew if everything was ironed out now before I order 3 or 4 cases of bullets.
  17. Looks like powder valley is out of anything small pistol and no Federal primers of any kind. Must be the weather.
  18. Looks like a winner. Especially a sheet metal version. Probably a market for one.
  19. Hazmat and shipping makes for expensive primers at 5k. But it beats being completely out.
  20. My system doesn't like the acid in Gatorade. How do some of these mentioned do on acid or the lack thereof?
  21. I have the Dillon roller handle on all three presses. I'm also going to try the Inline Fabrication handle in the near future. I was loading a lot at one time and started having problems that were similar to arthritis. Switched to roller handles and no more problems.
  22. I dont lube rifle cases with OneShot, I use lanolin, and they get tumbled post sizing and trimming. Agreed. But, as much as I loved OS, I switched to home made lanolin based lube because it works so much better. The only problem with it is the amount of residue left on loaded rounds. And it doesn't take much, so very little is used. Sarge I've been looking for the 98%+ alcohol to make the lanolin lube with and the only thing I found was a chemical supply place at about $30/gallon plus hazmat and shipping. All advice and help appreciated as Dillon lube gets expensive loading several thousand rifle and pistol rounds.
