Mig
My wife (Donna) is a professional stage actress and she’ll be performing in the show “Ragtime” as featured character Emma Goldman on Broadway. From the Washington Post article on her: “Known for her larger-than-life singing voice (both in range and volume), take-charge stage presence, and knack for comedy and big emotions, Migliaccio says a Broadway career has "never been anything that I'd aimed for. My life is down here in D.C., so I kind of feel like I backed into it . . . but I'm really excited about it." To say I’m extremely proud of her is an understatement. Anyhow, I wanted to share the news. Washington Post article PlayBill "Ragtime" Cast Announcement

Mig
Just an update: The show opened and it was thrilling. The reviews have been positive and the after show party was awesome (Tavern on the Green). I'm so very proud of her. Just a few of the reviews: NY Times: http://theater.nytimes.com/2009/11/16/thea...e.html?emc=eta1 "the radical Emma Goldman (a rousing Donna Migliaccio)" Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...er=emailarticle "Donna Migliaccio's Emma Goldman comes across multi-dimensionally." USA Today: http://www.usatoday.com/life/theater/revie...time16_st_N.htm "Donna Migliaccio gives radical activist Emma Goldman a booming voice and stern mien." Broadway World: The thrilling new Broadway production of RAGTIME at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52 Street) officially opened yesterday, Sunday, November 15, 2009.
