Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Great match Dean! I've never seen a more smoothly run 3gun match. Thanks to all the sponsors and hats off to the very hard working embedded RO's who worked theirs asses off and still managed to win the WV match! Congrats to all the winners!
  2. I'll finish the match I started with my team for this 2012 Colt Series.....I do what I say and say what I mean. It is a very fun match no doubt and yes we also traveled far and spent a lot of money to attend it. ESPECIALLY since there are cash/prizes and huge sponsors. And well known shooters attending. Just never know this was like golf and bowling with handicaps and all. No hard feelings really.....
  3. 1. And at ALL other matches DQs go home due to safety and none of your score counts for nothing. 2. This scoring method wasn't listed in the rules. IMHO a shooter that DQs their team on a stage: that team on that stage should receive the max time allowed and the FTEs and misses counted for the DQd shooter of that Team. But I digress...
  4. Just to show how badly the modifier formula skewed the numbers, First 30 teams scores with the weird formula ended up like this: 1. 505.17 2. 577.23 3. 603.69 4. 766.40 5. 594.85 6. 612.12 7. 817.42 8. 841.91 9. 673.13 10. 443.14 DQ'd on stage 4 11. 722.43 12. 812.67 13. 825.04 14. 967.95 15. 1000.74 16. 822.05 17. 965.70 18. 982.99 19. 938.69 20. 905.05 21. 883.09 22. 857.78 23. 888.40 24. 867.62 25. 923.08 26. 1220.74 27. 974.70 28. 912.57 29. 1074.43 30. 967.85 So in the end it really isn't Time-Plus.....
  5. I guess my main beef is reading the rules as they were made available. I don't care what they do in Rome since we aren't in Rome.
  6. I'm not a scholar in math but The Virginia Arms Shooting Team (Jensen, Simon & Lipscomb) should be 5th place not 9th place, if we're using strictly Time-Plus as listed per the rules available on the Topton website.....
  7. "that's a bargain at 1/2 te price!"
  8. Brett Simon is one hell of a handgun shooter (Master-class). IIRC he also used a Glock 17 with night sights not his normal race gun.

  10. I just got a 24" vent rib barrel for my SLP Mk 1, It's a lot better balanced than the 22" cantilever scope mount bbl and it uses Invector Plus choke tubes.
  11. Thanks for the great match Dean and crew and for the supporters like Lancer etc.
  12. Team VA Arms Co had a blast shooting with you guys too as well as everyone else on our squad. I sent you a PM here on the Enos forums.
  13. Great match as usual Dean. I shot primarily rifle and a little pistol, Brett shot primarily pistol and a little shotgun and rifle and Dan shot primarily shotgun with a little pistol and rifle. Team VA Arms placed 3rd. And we picked up the three certificates for the three Lancer lowers can't wait to get them. Nice prize table too. Any chance on having a similar match 3-man 3-rifle match I think that would rock. Later, Robb
  14. It was a great match, I highly recommend attending this if you haven't in the past. There might be another in September of this year! It was great as said by the other poster they had a full auto AK for us on one stage. On another stage they had a iron sighted FAL, an EMR (accurized M14) and a M40A3 sniper rifle that everyone shot as part of the stages. I did pretty well. I was 1st place Civilian (and I believe 2nd or 3rd place overall), I won a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x power scope and 5 PMAGs off the prize table. My wife took some pics of me shooting it.
