davidwiz
It seems that the range is about 25 miles from the Strip. Is is better to stay in closer to the range (at one of the recommend places) or in downtown LV?
outerlimits
south end of the strip, not on the strip, at the silverton...bass pro shops right in the hotel. stayed there 3 years ago for the 3 gun nats and it was great. spent all my $$ in bass pro shops and not in casinos... outerlimits
chuck-it was for desert sportsman's, but i'll be staying there this year as well. only about 8-10 mins further than desert sportsman's. last time there, basspro had a sale on AA's. walked away with 2 cases. if i remember right, didn't you and everett have to leave early one shooting day cause the wives had ducats to see elton john one night? norbs007
Silverton is a good place to stay in, just hop on 215 East to 95 and you'll be at the range in no time.

Close, Ev and Sue went to Eagles tickets and my wife and I went to Gwen Stefani. I have a sneaking feeling the wives are gonna try and come this year too. Man is this going to be expensive. VegasOPM
Another nice place that everyone might consider is Green Valley Ranch. It is off of 215 and about 15 miles from the range. Being off the Strip, they usually have room specials and it will knock 15-20 minutes off the trip. They have restaurants, bars, lounges, movie theater- oh yeah, gambling too. There is a really nice area called "The District" right next door with food and shopping.

Chuck Anderson
Well even if Kurt's bored, I'm excited. I haven't been to a USPSA Multi Gun since 2006. I'll be going to this one though. I guess Kurts just skeert. Can't say I blame him.

LChico
USPSA 3-Gun (Multi-gun) Nationals has NEVER filled up! There's a first time for everything. I plan to do my best to promote this match. The group planning the match has been at work for a while. They are listening to the Multi-gun crowd. They are serious about turning the USPSA 3 Gun Nationals into a "don't miss" event. As one of the suckers that has agreed to help out (it is one of my "home" ranges), I concur. All I can say is that it might not fill up the first year.... .... but it will the second! kurtm
SKEERT?? No Lawman, I Ain't ASKEERT! Just jump on a plane to the Phillipines and come shoot the Austral-Asian level 4 3-gun championships with me. I gota do a shotgun class the week before the match so I thought I would stay and shoot it, I bet all in all it is a better match and cheaper than L.V. in the end. Besides I ain't carried a rifle in the P.I. since the mid seventies
