I shot my first Ironman this year, and to tell the truth I thought setting steel and pasting targets helped understand the stage when it was my time to shoot. Now that I have done the match once and have a better feel for it I would pay $20 to not have to set steel, paste targets. 2010 will be a lot of fun and I'm planning on being there..... When can I send in my registration and match fee??? :D

i would say to get involved with setup and tear down of local matches and RO as much as possible at local matches.

The Lat. Long is helpful for GPS navigation as well

i have a G35 with dawson front sight and use a Fobus, works great

one option would be to follow procedures from a site like Gunbroker.com, they have a good system and you could follow it when/where it applied. I think your right, a week should be long enough IMHO

The part that got me was with Sen. Diane Fienstein and citation of the White House agenda web page talking about it is there goal to re-instate the Clinton AW ban. Diane said there were too many other pressing issues, but that she would wait for the proper time, then introduce the legislation. So hold on to your hats folks, it is only going to get worse before it gets better. They got 4 years.
