North
Ok, since the original thread got jacked by the who is D or D; I started a new one. I am stoked that we have a semi-production 6'er now. I look forward to the pictures and reviews. http://www.dawsonprecision.com/ProductDeta...08B9-1210098581
mwx40x40
It's a shame Para Ord did not do the 6" Hawg in 40. Then we would have two production six inchers to chose from.
chizzle
Thanks for this post; I was looking at a 6" gun, and I can't wait until Dawson posts photos so that I can see what this one looks like!
Alwaystryin
I called today to inquire about the Fast Six. Was told 8 weeks out and payment in full up front. Blue finish was standard and the phone person didnt know how much Hard Chrome would add. Seems odd to pay up front in full for a semi custom with no additional custom order options. Huston in Austin
Dave has been really busy, but the slide cuts were finished tonight. The slide weighs about what a 5 in slide weighs. It needs to be prepped and blued, then the pictures will get taken. I don't like slides that are all chopped up, but I like what Dave did to this one. The CNC is all programmed so the next one can go much faster, actually it will take longer to re-blue the slide than to cut it. One of the advantages to helping out at the shop is getting to see stuff before anyone else ( actually see it get designed ). Happy Labor Day everyone,

HSMITH
My eye-o-meter scale thinks that gun is 37 ounces.
Dan Sierpina
My eye-o-meter scale thinks that gun is 37 ounces. Nope Howard, 38+ ounces. The "Ventilator" weighs 35.7 ounces and doesn't have an ambi safety.

Dawson Marketing
What ever happened to these? No mention on the website anymore, and the link <above> to the pics does not work. Any feedback on the ones that were built? Any pics to post? Well, we got orders for six of them and they sold fast in six months. Coincidence? Destiny? Dave's master plan? Dawson Marketing
We had an overstock of 6" Eagles in .40. Dave built 'em into the Dawson Precision Fast Six. They sold quickly. They may appear again. -Chet
sfinney
Ok Chet, so these were basically Dawson Tuned STI 6.0 Eagles, with the fluting, etc for slide lightening? Any other features? Just curious.
