    Shadow Target

The slide still only says "Shadow" on it not "Shadow Target". So its the same model no additional approval needed.
  2. There is a shop in Zion that charges 25.00 and doesn't add any BS fees to the transfer. Its called First Class firearms. 847-246-1740
  3. Just got a brand new Shadow Custom. It has a test target stating the trigger pull is 9.6 DA and 3.6 SA. On my trigger gauge its even about a half pound more on both. Is this really the great custom trigger job everybody gushes about? I think its crap and would hate to feel a factory trigger pull. Can any other Shadow custom owners confirm their trigger pulls? Edit to add: Rob is taking care of it, its a spring thing. Great service from CZ Custom.
  4. I use the .357 expander die to load .356 bullets and it works perfect. For 2010 they have expanders for lead bullets that are ,according to the tech support guy, 1 or 2 thousands larger. He didnt have one to measure yet. Curious. Does the Hornady powder through expanders work for .356 and .401 bullet widths? Or, just .355 and .400? Jim
  5. Hornady makes powder through expander dies for the powder measure. Why would you want to use the less precise lee system when you have a LnL. The lnl powder expander is 10.00. I wouldnt run the press without the lockout die its saved me before. It not only locks when a charge is missing but when its under charged as well. Your eye can easily see if a charge is missing , but will you see a charge of clays thats .5 less?
  6. 1.15 is the longest that fits in the magazine.
  7. So the difference is roughly 113 grains? Just trying to use a measure that I can wrap my mind around.
  8. I use 147 grain lead in all my competition revolvers. The bores slug out to .355 and the throats are .356 I use the same bullets in my 9s as well. I run though 10k of those bullets a year between everything. Since lead doesn't like to stay sized the bullets mic to .3565 it keeps things real easy. Also real accurate in everything. No downside.
  9. I have 2 LMT MRPs the 14.5 is not as reliable as the 16. The 14.5 likes to sometimes rip the case rim off leaving the empty hopelessly stuck. Obviously over gassed. Also one of my MRPs turned purple over time. Clearly the anodizing wasn't up to par. Customer service was non existent they said screw you purple is fine. At least that's the way I heard it. LMT is obviously hit or miss. Kind of an expensive roll of the dice.
  10. In my opinion more shots are always more fun. Its a called a shooting match not a mag changing match. Maybe a new limited 2 division where only 2 shots in each mag with a limit of 16 mags on the belt should be a division? A true mag changers delight.
  11. Until they figure out how to make it work with a Flash player its not on my want list. The lack of the flash player is what makes me hate my Iphone.
  12. The Military load was a 230 to 1.250 OAL with 5.2 grains of Bullseye.
  13. Your load is .5 grains above the book load and thats using a lead bullet. I have only seen clays and 147 in the lyman reloading manual.
  14. 147 lead 2.8 clays 1.15 OAL 900 fps out of a 5 in. 132 pf
  15. I have the LNL with the EZ-ject I use the lee 4 die sets for all pistol cals without any modifications of any kind. Just plug n play. Just to be real clear I use the lee 4 die sets in 9,38,40, and 45.
