jakfrost1
Hi all, really enjoying my SRO's, ( DVC for matches and Q5 SF for practice ), but wondering if anyone has come up with a battery replacement tool. The slot in the cover is wide but not deep...I have tried gently with a coin that fits pretty snug but it is hard to get much torque on such a small surface as a coin, especially since it is half under the scope hood. Anyone found a clever 'McGiver' tool? Jim W.

Cuz
Just wondering if you guys are still using this tool and how it’s holding up? is it really much better than just using a quarter to stick in the slot? thanks.

I'm still using mine. Works fine with no issues. I haven't tried using a quarter, so no way I can respond to the comparison.
dapribek
I found using a coin very difficult. The tool works great!
jubi351
Tool is great, does not mar the cover. Of course I only change the battery once a year so it's hard to tell how long it will last but I'm not concerned.
Cuz
Thanks. He's out at the moment, won't have any for a couple of weeks.
Sigrunner
Just to let everyone know, I am more than grateful for all the nice reviews on this forum. Things have really been looking up for my SRO Tools. I have updated my sight so you can now purchase directly from the website. I also have made an improvement to the tool by making the arm 1/2" longer and it is now 3D printed out of stainless steel. And found a new company that can make them faster and even better quality.
