muncie21
Looking through the 2019 catalog for CZ-USA I noticed that the Tactical Sport is no longer included. The TS Orange and Czechmate are included..
zzt
A shame, but not surprising.

adamge
Why sell the $1300 model when you can stick a few extra in-house parts on it and charge $2000?

My guess is the demand for the standard TS flatlined and they can't keep the TSO in stock.
zzt
I'm sure they flattened supply. I know three shooters who wanted TS but could not find anyone who had them. So they each bought TSOs.
philippshen
Maybe new TS is coming?

The frame of the TS is different than the TSO. I'm not just talking about the checkering, the dust cover is completely different. Kilrb
I bought one last year a 17 model. Saw earlier they were discontinued, looks like I will hang on to it. Was going to sell but may be best not to know
Rnlinebacker
Czechmate and TSO use the same exact frame. Easier manufacturing for them I guessSent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
zzt
I'd hang onto it. I still think they were a better deal than the TSO I've had mine 4 or 5 years. I installed a FO front sight, fully Cajunized it, did a grip reduction, lightened the slide, lowered the fixed rear sight to match the new FO front and rounded the corners so I could use it as a slide racker. The I had it Cerakoted. It blows the doors off a TSO for not much more money. I shouldn't say that, because aandabooks might try to talk me out of it. eerw
We have a couple the TS 40 in stock and should have few 9mm in about a week, if anyone is looking for them #czcustom Edited April 8, 2019 by eerw

rowdyb
The mold for casting the TS frame is worn beyond spec. Thus no more regular TS.
Palmaris
Rifle Gear has a lot of TS in stock, with price tag $1129. But interesting thing is-look at dust cover and you will find that looks like TSO, not TS.
WoodrowAugustus
That would make sense with Rowdy’s comment above yours.
rowdyb
I'm not talking about in stock, but future production. There is none. Just TSO.
muncie21
Interesting comment about the dust covers of the TS' at Rifle Gear. They indeed appear to be the same as TSO. Another chapter in the ever changing world of CZ design/decision changes.

I don’t think mold could wear out that fast. Usually it is about 100K shots minimum. Did they make that many TS?

eerw
Like the limited showing of the TS Blue what is supposed to be the last few Tactical Sports in 9mm with the TSO style dustcover with older style checker/waffle pattern
