RolexJohn
I've heard Max Michele and Ben Stoeger talk about using some sort of grip enhancing lotion or application before they shoot...Grip Pro? Pro Grip? Does anyone use such a product? Have any links to purchase it? -John Edited February 2, 2018 by RolexJohn

Loudgp
Pro grip works well.. just leaves the grips white and anything you touch.... comes off though
RolexJohn
Any preference for the spray vs. the lotion?
Loudgp
I like the lotion version, a little goes a long way..... haven't tried the spray... so cant comment about it... others use rosin bags ( bowling ball shops and Walmart, etc may have)
jk_nh
John, I've also used a product called Fast Grip, which i like better than Pro Grip. No white residue over everything. CPWSA is also an awesome place with which to do business. https://cpwsa.com/collections/grip-enhancement-products/products/fast-grip
resortboarder
I like Dry Hands. Get it on amazon. Doesn’t get sticky, but has a nice tack and lasts a long time.
BenBreeg
I like Dry Hands too. I actually put it on the back of my stong hand fingers. I dont like having it on my weak hand when grabbing mags.
CDRODA396
I just pick up a rosin bag from Dick's, typically lasts all year. It does turn your Trugrip whitish, but what price to pay for security?
R.Elliott
Liquid grip. I discovered this stuff a couple years ago and it's hands down (see what I did there?) the best product going IMHO. https://liquidgrip.com

It does make your hands very white, but it helps with grip a lot.
wtturn
I like a product called "Grrrip" found on Amazon prime. It's tacky without being sticky, if that makes any sense.
GunBugBit
I have a love-hate relationship with these liquid chalk type products. I don't like to use them unless my hands are sweaty, which happens during the Phoenix hot season.
Zoomy
Do these grip products help with holding on to shells when quad loading a shotgun?
rowdyb
I use a tacky grip if it is really raining badly. I use a drying grip if I sweaty. I like lotion dispenser over pump for Progrip because the pump clogs easily in my experience. I also put a projectile inside the container to really agitate it when I shake it as the stuff will thicken in colder weather. To me, it does provide a benefit. I also agree when people like Ben and others say if you use it in live fire, use it in your dry fire.. As it does change things just a little. I rub it all over the palms of both hands and the back (dorsal side) of my main hand so my support hand has something to get a hold of. I do not put it on the pad of my trigger finger. The liquid grip looks like you're covered in plaster, but people swear by it. I've used a tacky aerosol spray, climbers chalk, powdered rosin, weight lifters grip spray, hair spray, corn starch, pro grip, and a tennis grip thing made by Prince. jkrispies
Just discovered this thread. I remember an interview that Jerry Miculek did back when he was all about revolver speed records where he said that the “grip chalk” he used was actually corn starch. My memory says that needed something to SLICKEN his hands across his non-checkered revolver grips to perform revolver reloads fast enough with the grip shift involved but it may have been to increase tackiness. CrashDodson
+1 for dry hands. I have used all the hand chalk stuff and this stuff is the best. For really hot days I also use a hand anti antiperspirant. https://www.amazon.com/All-Sport-Topical-Antiperspirant-Non-Slip-Enhancement/dp/B0015R4AUS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1521664565&sr=8-4&keywords=hand+antiperspirant
Sarge
Rumor has it you can just spray your hands with old school right guard.
CrashDodson
Im sure that works too. Seems like it would leave an undesirable texture but maybe not.

I wondered the same thing. I never tried it though. I use the same stuff everybody else uses.
