    Axg module

John, I really like the Armory Craft magwell. I have the regular version in black. Can’t say enough good things about it. https://www.armorycraft.com/product-page/sig-sauer-p320-magwell-for-axg-grip-modules
  2. StartSignal, This is great news! Thank you for helping with them. Are these matches in Practiscore yet? What keywords should we use to find them?
  3. Thank you very much for all your suggestions, guys. I emailed JP, asking if they have had any repots like mine concerning the GMR; they have not. One of the tech support staff at JP called. I discussed with him the symptoms I outlined in my original post here. He asked me to send the lower back to them. It was in the shop for a week. I have it back already. The statement of work they sent upon completion read that they reinstalled the fire control mechanism due to failure to reset and replace what they call EZ Disconnector. I am using at a local match tomorrow with factory Federal ammo, which is what I use normally. I am grateful for all your input. thank you all again.
  4. AHI, Do I lengthen the stroke by adding quarters or that shim from the package of O-rings? Yes, I’ve put 300 rounds total through the gun. This problem has existed since Day 1. It is not a matter of shooting 300 then making a change. It is just the total mileage on the gun. Thank you for taking the time to answer. I’m grateful for any input.
  5. Thank you for the ideas, guys. To answer the follow-up questions: - I have not modified the gun in any way except for adding optics; - I did pull the firing pin that came original with the gun. It looked fine; I have fewer than 300 rounds through the gun; - I do not reload. I have only used factory American Eagle 124gr ammo. On the idea of adding quarters or the spacer in the buffer tube. This GMR has the same pin on the buffer tube that comes with an AR to hold an non-SCS buffer in place. Would that makes a difference in how much tension the SCS applies to the bolt? I added one quarter in the buffer tube after the spacer but before the SCS. Would I be better off using that spacer JP includes in the pack of O-rings? Will one quarter apply the amount of tension I need? Thank you again.
  6. I have a question that I hope the GMR15 experts out there can help me with. I have a brand new GMR15 manufactured in October 2020. It has the short stroke bolt and SCS and the competition hammer springs. I’m having the same malfunction with every Glock mag and ammo type I have: when I pull the trigger, there is just a click. The round does not go off. When I eject the round and check it, there is no firing pin dimple. It is as if the firing pin did not make any contact with the primer. For what it is worth, I am using Federal American Eagle ammo and Glock OEM magazines. The GMR itself is clean and lubricated. For the JP experts, is this likely to be a problem with the firing pin spring being too light, or the hammer spring being too light? The firing pin looked fine when I pulled it. This is my fifth JP Rifles PCC or AR; I’ve never seen this issue before. I’ve emailed JP already. I’m hoping someone on the board has advice on a remedy. I’m grateful for any help.
  7. George16, Do you have a link for a grade 12.9 bolt from bolt depot.com that is the equivalent to the 6-40 bolt in the screen shot above? TIA.
  8. Echoing what rishii wrote, our club uses the reactive model from Gunfighter Targets at our 3Gun matches: http://www.gunfightertargets.com/
  9. Sorry to necropost this thread. I’d like to shoot this match in 2020, if it comes around again. For those flying or have flown to this match, what airport do you recommend we fly into? Is it DFW or is Love Field an option?
  10. Josh Froelich, who is a great 3gunner and one of the best PCC shooters in the country, has a great podcast. His latest one is all about sponsorship; it may help focus the OP on the mechanics of becoming sponsored: https://joshfroelich.com/josh-froelichs-addicted-sponsorship/ FULL DISCLOSURE: i don't know Josh, nor have I met or ever spoken with him. Just follow his IG page and found the podcast.
  11. Howard, For participants shooting in Tac Optics, are 12 round shotgun tubes permitted, so long as only 9 rounds are loaded before the buzzer? Are 40 round AR mags permitted? Thank you very much.
  12. Looking to transition from a Cmore to MRO on my GMR15. Question for the group: which height mount would you recommend: full co-witness or lower 1/3rd? grateful for any advice.
  13. John, I've also used a product called Fast Grip, which i like better than Pro Grip. No white residue over everything. CPWSA is also an awesome place with which to do business. https://cpwsa.com/collections/grip-enhancement-products/products/fast-grip
  14. OP to this thread here. Many thanks to the people who posted their advice on the Atlas Titan. No issues at all with the reloading-centric answers. Those are the exact questions I was hoping to have answered. They kind of confirmed what I suspected already. Asking the question the way I did as kind of like asking what kind of computer I should buy. Answer depends on how you intend to use it. Sorry for the open-ended questions. Sarge, all of your follow-up questions are very good. I've been shooting USPSA production since 2010, averaging between 6-7k rounds per shooting season. My average is 3-4 matches per month, not including area, sectional matches, and practices. I just transitioned from a G34 to a CZ Shadow 2. Had an opportunity to handle a Titan at Area 7 this year. Handling that gun was like seeing the clouds part and sun come out, it felt that good. I am up on the differences, benefits, and drawbacks with minor vs. major power factor. The reloading issue is a concession to the Mrs. She is uncomfortable with powder and primers in the house; she's fine with loaded ammo. Go figure. If reloading is really the only way to make shooting limited major and buying the Titan worth it, I'll have to negotiate that with her. Gentlemen, I'm grateful for all you taking the time to share your expertise and perspective. Exactly why I love this forum. Thank you very much.
  15. Crossgun, I was in the exact same boat earlier this year when I got my GMR-15. I bought a railway with aluminium body and click switch. I know when i step to the line and turn on the optic, i turn the switch four times and the dot is at the intensity I like. I also took AirCooled Racer's excellent advice and bought the ADM mount for $80 at Brownells. Excellent mount. It raises the optic up to a comfortable cheek weld position. I can also fit a JP 45 degree offset mount underneath it for those tight corner shots. You'll see what I mean once you get the sight and this mount. I like the 6 MOA dot but have bought an 8 MOA module just in case. Other posters on this topic are spot-on when they write about 6 or 8 MOA dot being good to go. Good luck with your decision.
  16. Forgive the noob-level question. I've never owned a high end gun like a Titan. I don't reload. Isusing factory 9mm 147gr such as Atlanta Arms or Tier 1 good to go,out of these pistols? Or is like putting low octane gas in a Ferrari? Curious whether I'd taking full advantage what a Titan can do by using factory ammo.

    226 Legion SAO RX

Base, That pistol is awesome! Details, please. Who makes the comp, whose magwell is that; is that a factory threaded barrel?
  18. Timido, this is exactly the setup I'd like. Thank you for posting the pictures. Much appreciated.
  19. Timido, would you mind posting a picture of that setup?
  20. Looking for advice from the PCC community. Just got my GMR-15. Put a C-More railway on it as the primary optic. Would like to add a 45 degree offset mount/sight for the hard lean shots. I noticed the railway takes up all the space on the upper receiver rail, leaving no room for offset mount. Here is my question:. Is it a reasonable solution to buy a rail for the top of the hand guard and mount the offset out there? My sense is that the offset sight and primary optic woud be mis-aligned, making for awkward transitions. if anyone has dealt with this, I'd be grateful for any insight. Thank you.

    Red Dot Longevity

Looking to test the waters in Carry Optics but was reading that competition is not exactly gentle on red dot electronics. For those of you shooting CO now, how many rounds would you estimate your RDS will last before the internal electronics are toast? For example, read today that a first generation RMR will last between 8-9k rounds before the whole sight needs replacement. That doesn't seem like very many when combining practice and matches. My sense is that many competitors on this forum could easily go through half that in just one season. Am considering a Type 2 RMR and a Deltapoint Pro. Any observations are much appreciated.
  23. Registered and paid yesterday. So I think I'm good. Are we shooting three days or four? I thought I read on the FB3G's Facebook page that we can check-in and walk the stages on 11/16 and shoot four stages each on November 17-18-19. Has that changed?

    P09 Question

Hoping the board can help with a couple of questions I had concerning the P09 for USPSA CO. Please excuse what may seem like noob-level questions. I have seen pictures of this gun with an RMR mounted but no suppressor sight in the rear dovetail. Alternately, I've seen pictures of a CZC version of the gun with an RMR mounted and rear suppressor sights milled into the slide just behind the ejection port and forward of the RMR. Is there something about this pistol that makes it incompatible with both an RMR and rear dovetail-mounted suppressor sights? Is there any benefit to not using rear sights at all with a CO pistol and just going with an RMR and front sights? Thank you very much.
