ES13Raven
What is your favorite gun lube for CZs? Anyone use grease on the rails? What are the necessary lube points for the SP-01?

fishsticks
Break free CLP for cleaning and general lubrication. I do use a very small amount of synthetic gun grease on the slide/frame rails. I don't have a huge # of rounds through it, but so far so good.
jc3257
Rand CLP work great for me. Had some issues with Frog Lube in cold weather but liked it when the temps were warm. Rand stays slick in all weather, no smell and cleaning is a breeze. Their new Bore & Bolt cleans well also. Really good for AR's
brisix
+1 on Frog Lube.
MRevolutionIX
Rand CLP for me. Wanted to try something that wasn't a petroleum based product and settled on Rand.
bockerSV
Castor 927 2 stroke oil. Thicker than most motor oils so it stays put nicely and provides good lubrication. I use it in my dirtbike so I always have it around.

razorfish
Slide Glide on the rails. I'll also put a dab of slide glide the barrel lugs and on the bushing of the Accu-Shadow. Mobil 1 for anything else that needs oiling.
johnsons1480
Which slide glide are you guys using? And in what weather conditions?
razorfish
Which slide glide are you guys using? And in what weather conditions? I'm using the medium (red) slide glide. This viscosity is for 60+ degrees. On cold days, I wipe a little off and add little Mobile 1 oil. I'm on the the Gulf Coast where heat is the norm and cold is rare. johnsons1480
I'm on the gulf coast too. I was worried about ordering the wrong one with winter coming up ... maybe. I was out there in shorts and a t shirt today.
ZombieHunter
Mobile 1 on everything .. and Lithium Greese on the rails ... smooth as butter.
Garmil
Slide glide lite on rails and barrel lugs. Slip 2000 everywhere else.
BeerBaron
Slide glide light or medium on the rails and barrel lugs and barrel bush. Oil (either kleenbore formula 3 or mpro 7) on sear, hammer, trigger bar, trigger spring and it runs very nicely. Same goes on my shadow, shadow 2012/orange, my stock 2 and my Eric gold custom/gold team open gun. Edited December 7, 2014 by BeerBaron
djcantr
I'm on the fence about lubes. Was a CLP guy. Then started using FrogLube. Love it for the anti corrosion properties. I found that when I returned to a gun I hadn't shot in several months that the FrogLube was gummy. I'd do the heat and treat and then brush on a very small amount. Never had any failures with it. I've switched to Mobil1 recently for lube but still like to heat and treat with FrogLube and then wipe it all off to help prevent rust and corrosion.
