Sarge
That does look good. I made something myself that is along the same lines though not nearly as pretty. I might consider buying one of those.

IceDevil
I have the one being sold on eBay and it's great. After spending too much time searching for a dropped primer on the floor of my garage I became convinced it was worth the cost.

FreeJersey
I went with this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dillon-XL-650-missed-Primer-fix-/281138617866?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item41752ade0a Not crazy about the O-ring but, the ski jump is made of steel and is very well made. dillon
For safety reasons you really don't want any vessel for live primers to accumulate in. You should remove them from the chute and either reinstall them into the magazine tube or set them in your primer flip tray.
Franco79
Dillon, then come up with a better idea to what you guys currently have. I like many others are tired of picking primers off the floor especially when we have little kids running around. It's quite a simple fix, Raise the walls on your ski jump so that the primers don't go flying off
Babaganoosh
Dillon, then come up with a better idea to what you guys currently have. I like many others are tired of picking primers off the floor especially when we have little kids running around. It's quite a simple fix, Raise the walls on your ski jump so that the primers don't go flying off I know I'll get blasted but the fact that the 650 shoots out an unused primer is one of the reasons I went with a Hornady over a 650 and also why I dig my SDB. L3324temp
I've never had a primer leave the chute yet and I have probably loaded close to 20k rounds.
NoSteel
My preference is the 550B primer system, The only thing on my 650 I would change......
Sarge
I've never had a primer leave the chute yet and I have probably loaded close to 20k rounds. And if I recall the very first primer ever to go down my chute went onto the floor.

sthone
Yes I am. I respect Brians fourm though (been a member/lurker for years) so I never want to spam the forum trying to sell my product so if anyone has a problem or needs to contact me please just PM me or better yet just send me and email. (stevethone@comcast.net) I do appreciate the plug though, Thanks. -Steve

CraigS.
Not a hi-tech solution but A piece of target tape wrapped around the chute to create a fence raising the height of the chute walls Works great lasts a long time and costs nothing . RiggerJJ
I just lay a 45acp case in the ramp. When its time to add primers while loading I just dump whats in the case (if any) into the primer tube loader and add a tray of primers and load a tube.
