Kimberkid
I always bring eyedrops too. My eyes are naturally dry, so when I wear contacts (anytime I am shooting) my eyes will dry out and start glazing over within 5 hours or so, even with extended wear contacts. On a super hot day I will actually re-wet my eyes after every stage.

wide45
They used to give out eye drops at major matches. Came in a little squeezy bottle. Slick stuff, helped your eyes slide from target to target. No more jerky ratchety vision. Now you just get packets of salad dressing...
GentlemanJim
Z ...three hole punches? 9mm 40 and 45? Thats why you are always looking up in the air and saying WHATS THAT? when the RO is scoring your target Jim

hitman
What no chairs, surefires or NVGs? Why not just carry a spare gun and leave all those parts in the truck?

Precision40
In my stage bag I keep my ammo, mag brush, FP10, a small towel, sunscreen, some Power Bars, a few jewlers screwdrivers and allen wrenches that I might use. I like to keep it simple. Everything else stays in the truck.
BSeevers
I do use eyedrops before every stage since with my contacts, it does sharpen my vision. With the new restrictions on baggage weight and number of free checked bags, I learned something flying to a couple matches. Forced to deal with a reduced bag and amount of "stuff" I have learned that I don't need the kitchen sink. I now use a small bag all the time. My wife taught me the fine art of travelling light. I spent two weeks in China last year, and she and my teenaged son spent about two months there, with only one carryon bag apiece. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out how to lighten up on the shooting gear. At least now I leave most of it in the rental car, available "just in case". hitman
Z, I have a chair (or stool if you like) that fits inside my range bag. Very handy, 3 leg camping job, metal legs very light and sturdy even came with a bag that can be fixed to the outside of a range bag if you dont want to put it inside. Think I found it at Target. hitman
Those are definitely more comfortable than my little stool. Not to mention if I lean back I end up lying on the ground. I have been steadily shrinking what I carry in my range bag that’s one reason I built a back up pistol. PS: Dont ask what I carry in my truck to a big match. Nik Habicht
Range Bag: Gun Backup Gun 8 magazines Ammo --- match need plus 50% redundancy if over 200 rounds, 100% redundancy if under 200 rounds needed. Mag Loader --- because I mostly use Glock 10 rounders, and I like my thumbs. 2 Pair of Rudy Rydon glasses, one clear, one red with spare dark grey lenses in case red isn’t dark enough. Wolf Ears Ear Plugs Pasters Protein Bars --- a variety of Atkins products Water Ziploc bags in various sizes Trash Bag --- large enough to bag my range bag Ziploc bag with rule book, and at major matches the match booklet/stage stickers Small Ziploc bag with bandaids etc. Knee pads Batteries --- Wolf Ears, Timer CED7000 timer Sunscreen Sight Black Video Camera and spare battery Tool Bag: All parts necessary to rebuild competition gun except for Frame, Slide and Barrel Trigger system parts have already been polished, and tested. Sight Tool Brass Hammer Assorted Screwdrivers Needlenosed pliers Brass Hammer and squib rod Tweezers For major matches I add a spare holster and extra pouches to the tool bag, and often a third gun to the range bag. I’ve never needed any of that stuff, but am convinced that’s only because of it’s presence in the range bag or truck.
Ted Murphy
Most of that stuff, plus or minus plus a bag with trauma and boo-boo first aid supplies, including one or more ace bandages. For the most part, I'd carry ammo and a cylinder brush and leave the rest in the car but I like having the FA kit handy.
